Londo: "This is not a piece of jewelry, this is not 'the merchandise'. This is the Eye, the oldest symbol of Centauri nobility, the property of the very first emperor." Londo and Kiro reclaim the Eye from a trader he has hired to find it. Kiro betrays Londo and sets up a scenario in which the Eye is stolen by raiders, actually in league with Kiro.

After Morden received the correct response to his question from Londo, he sends the Shadows to recover the Eye, and returns it to Londo.

Answer: G'Kar

Although Morden is seen to be observing Londo first (when he accepts the Eye from the trader), Morden approaches G'Kar first. G'Kar answers his question in such a way that Morden seems thrilled at first, but really all G'Kar wants is for his planet to live peacefully.

He asks this to the ambassadors of the Narn, Centauri and Minbari. He does not approach Kosh, probably knowing that the Vorlon are hostile to him. He also does not approach anyone from the Earth Alliance, although we don't *really* find out why.

Lady Ladira is Kiro's aunt, although he doesn't believe everything she says (since she once said he would be killed by shadows). When she arrives on the station, she receives a vision of the destruction of Babylon 5, with only a shuttle escaping.

When the Shadows went to retrieve the Eye from the raiders, they blew up the ship, killing Lord Kiro. Londo: "Then you don't believe her vision?" Kiro: "She's been wrong before. On my first birthday she said that someday I would be killed by...the shadows." Londo: "Shadows?" Kiro: "Doesn't exactly make sense, does it?"

This shuttle was being attacked by raiders, although it was just a distraction to get the starfuries away from Babylon 5 so that the raiders could retrieve the Eye and Lord Kiro. The plan did not succeed, since Ivanova and Delta Wing were able to make it back in time to join in the battle.

Ivanova is in command of Delta Wing. When Delta Wing is deployed to catch the raiders and save the transport she is the one calling the shots. We see in later episodes that she is usually the officer that accompanies Delta Wing, and Garibaldi usually accompanies Alpha Wing.

Garibaldi gives the damage report to Sinclair -- some damage to the station, two starfuries destroyed (although they only lost one pilot), and Kosh needs to repair his encounter suit.

This is one of my favortie scenes when Ivanova has just been woken up by her alarm. Computer: "Good morning. The time is oh-four-thirty, Earth-standard, Wednesday, August third, 2258. Personal log shows no outstanding appointments. Shall I download station-logs for past six hours?" Ivanova: "Sure, grab it, store it, shove it." Computer: "Clarification?" Ivanova: "Never mind. Why does my mouth always taste like old carpet in the morning?" Computer: "Unknown. Checking medical logs."

Ivanova goes on duty in C&C, where Sinclair is there to greet her. He asks: "Sleep well?" Ivanova: "Sleeping is not the problem. Waking up...that is a problem. I've always had hard time getting up when it's dark outside." Sinclair: "But in space it's always dark." Ivanova: "I know, I know."

Londo says this to Morden after he has returned the Eye to Londo, thereby saving his name and reputation, although Morden has already disappeared down the hall.

This is Lady Ladira's parting words to Sinclair after she has shared her vision with him. In the end, the vision came true although it did not mean what they thought it did.

This is part of Londo's reply to Morden: "All right. Fine. You really want to know what I want? You really want to know the truth? I want my people to reclaim their rightful place in the galaxy. I want to see the Centauri stretch forth their hand again and command the stars. I want a rebirth of glory, a renaissance of power. I want to stop running through my life like a man late for an appointment, afraid to look back or to look forward. I want us to be what we used to be! "Nuts" is one of the most common phrases used in Babylon 5. It has been uttered by at least four different characters (Garibaldi, Sinclair, Ivanova, Sheridan) throughout the course of the show, but this time it is said by Ivanova.

This is not the famous Kosh quote ("Leave this place. They are not for you. Go. Leave. Now."), but it is amazing how closely they resemble each other. This quote is Delenn's reaction to Morden once she realizes that he is related somehow to the Shadows.

She realizes what he is when the bit of triluminary material which has been implanted in her forehead (as well as the other Satai) causes the silver triangle to appear on her forehead.
