20. The film opens with a father and a son trying to hunt and kill what type of animal?
From Quiz Hatchet
Answer:
Alligator
As their boat drifts across the bog, the father complains that they've lost a twelve-footer, which they won't leave behind. But since they've lost it for the past three hours, it's simply been a waiting game. When the son, Ainsley, needs to go to the washroom, his father tells him to go off the side of the boat since he's not taking them to shore. When he does this (after some delay), the gator comes up and tries to bite him. The father grabs the harpoon while Ainsley falls back into the boat, but they lose the alligator in the bog. It takes some convincing, but Ainsley has his father pull the boat to the shore so that he can take a leak in the bushes, but while this happens the rain begins to pour. The father thinks he hears the alligator in the water and he tells Ainsley to stay back in the woods and not make a sound, but after a few moments of silence, he returns to the boat to investigate. Soon, however, he discovers that his father's body is on the shore, split in two. He grabs up the harpoon to defend himself, but the attacker lunges at him from the bushes and knocks him down before pulling him into the woods, tearing his arm off, digging into his back, and finally tearing him in two.
