Harry Potter's colours - Year Three Quiz

After losing his temper with Aunt Marge, and blowing her up, Harry leaves the Dursley's. He doesn't know where he is going, he feels as if something is watching him, and falls over. The Knight Bus magically appears and takes Harry to London. Harry tells Stan Shunpike, the conductor, that he is Neville Longbottom. Harry knows he will be in trouble for performing magic out of school.

Cornelius Fudge is the Minister of Magic. He tells Harry that he wants him to stay at "The Leaky Cauldron" for the last two weeks of the holiday. He is free to go anywhere as long as he keeps to Diagon Alley.

A furtive looking wizard wearing a suit of emerald green drives each car. Two cars take the Weasley family, Hermione and Harry to Kings Cross Station.

Neville's potion turns orange. Professor Snape gives some to Trevor, Neville's toad, hoping to poison it. With the help of whispered instructions from Hermione, the potion turns Trevor into a tadpole.

Professor Lupin's first Defence Against the Dark Arts lesson is a practical one, working with a Boggart. A Boggart is a shape-shifter, which turns into whatever you fear the most. Neville's greatest fear is Professor Snape. The only way to get rid of a Boggart is laughter, so Neville imagines Snape dressed in his grandmother's clothes, when the Boggart emerges from the staff room cupboard.

Ron and Hermione bring back lots of things from Honeydukes, the magical sweet shop in Hogsmeade. Harry, of course, is not allowed to go, as his Uncle has not signed his permission form.

They fill the room with bluebell coloured bubbles, which refuse to pop for days. Harry sees these in Honeydukes.

Harry, Ron and Hermione go into "The Three Broomsticks" for a Butterbeer. Harry is under his Invisibility Cloak, as he is not supposed to be in Hogsmeade. Ron goes red when he speaks to Madame Rosmerta.

It has the Gryffindor lion knitted on the front, with a dozen mince pies, Christmas cake and a box of nut brittle.

Harry is reminded of a glittering, oversized dragonfly. Only thirteen people - seven teachers and students - including Harry, Hermione and Ron have Christmas lunch in the Great Hall, together. Professor Lupin is not at lunch as he is unwell again.

Professor Lupin takes Ron, Hermione, and Harry's wands from Sirius. Hermione is very annoyed; she has known for sometime that Professor Lupin is a Werewolf. This is why Lupin is sometimes ill, and why Professor Snape has been making him a special potion. Professor Snape even gave the third years a hint when he made they study werewolves.

She thinks Professor Lupin has been helping Sirius Black get into Hogwarts. Professor Lupin says he hasn't been Black's friend for twelve years, but he is now. Lupin says Professor Dumbledore knew he was a Werewolf.

The owl is carrying a letter from Sirius Black, reassuring Harry that he is in hiding and is safe. Sirius says perhaps Ron would like the pigeon as his pet, seeming he no longer has Scabbers.
