Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Travis said that according to the log book Nick found, which city was "dead"?

Answer: San Diego

San Diego was where Strand wanted to go, and more about that was shown later in this episode. The military burned it down, just like they had Los Angeles.
2. The island where they decided to dock and hide from their pursuers was also a wildlife refuge.

Answer: True

Strand said if they stayed near a coast, they could lose the radar signal and evade the people following them. They picked an island with a deep cove, which happened to be a wildlife refuge. Travis said that there would be a radio and supplies there as well.
3. Who did *not* leave the yacht and go on land to seek/offer help?

Answer: Strand

Alicia and Chris went on land as well, and Daniel and Ofelia stayed behind. I am sure that was to make sure Strand did not abandon them. As they approached land, Maddie saw a light turn on inside a house, twice, and felt sure it was a signal. It was.
4. The name of the little boy who greeted the people from the yacht was Cooper.

Answer: False

His name was Harry, and his father said he was just excited to see people, as it had been a while. Jeremiah and Maverick Clayton played Harry Geary. The Geary family lived on the refuge and consisted of Melissa, George, Seth, Willa, and Harry. Jake Austin Walker played the eldest child Seth. He previously starred on the series "Rectify".
5. Which of these was *not* one of the locations George told Travis was gone?

Answer: Florida

He also said that Colorado was gone as well. So basically, half the country had been infected at a minimum. "Walking Dead" fans know that if it hadn't quite happened already, the eastern USA wasn't far behind. He came to this conclusion after losing contact with rangers at locations in all of those states.

"Talking Dead"- the guests on tonight's episode were Kim Dickens (Maddie), Lyndie Greenwood (Jenny on "Sleepy Hollow"), and "Longmire" star Lou Diamond Phillips. Lou had tweeted out that he wanted to appear on "TD" to discuss the series, and was welcomed on as a celebrity guest.
6. Who said this? "I'm starting to understand this world better...It's okay, it's good, understanding this world. It helps me understand you. It's cruel."

Answer: Ofelia

She wanted to stay on the island, but Daniel said they had to be invited. She seemed amused at the idea that they couldn't just do whatever they wanted. Her quote was to Daniel, her father, and he seemed accepting of her words.
7. Alicia explained to Willa what the phrase "a pocket full of posies" meant from the nursery rhyme "Ring Around the Rosy".

Answer: True

Willa sang the lyrics and then asked what posies were, so Alicia said they were flowers. The flowers were meant to make sick people well again, but she admitted to Willa that they hadn't worked.
8. Who said, "everything's off... everywhere"?

Answer: Alicia

Nick was talking to his sister about the lack of noise pollution, smog, and other hazardous things that were no longer a problem. He called them "perks" of the apocalypse. He then said to her, "something's off here", and her response is what's in the question area.
9. Ofelia signed her name on the Catrina Island Bird Watching Tour sign-up sheet.

Answer: False

Ofelia never left the yacht. It was Alicia who drew a spiral heart, like the one her boyfriend drew on her arm, onto the sign-up sheet. There were three names on the sign-up sheet above her drawing. The first one was Cristina Thurston, and the second one was Benjamin M. Wright. The last one was George Barba. Alicia had her earbuds in and the song's haunting lyrics probably inspired her to leave a part of Matt there, drawing his spiral heart.

"Every love is your best love, and every love is your last love. And, every kiss is a goodbye... every kiss is a goodbye. I watched you hold the son in your arms while he bled to death..." - "Coxcomb Red"
10. Who died near the end and turned into a walker?

Answer: Willa

Nick became worried about what Harry said about the special pills that would keep his family together, so he went searching for them. He found them, but Willa interrupted him, and he put them back inside the globe. She went back and took them, and they killed her.

She turned into a walker in her mom's arms, and bit her mother on the neck. This left Seth to put down his walker mother, played by actress Catherine Dent. All she wanted was for Maddie to take her young children away, so they'd have a chance at more than just the island. Maddie did take Harry, but Seth took him back at gunpoint.
