Thomas Abigail drove up and warned them not to attack the compound, as they'd be dead before they reached the gates. He was right, of course, as Celia had poisoned the wafers. The priest told Thomas that their death was Celia's doing and Thomas was a good man who should not protect her. Celia Flores was played by Marlene Forte. She has also appeared on "The Fosters", "Dallas" (2012), and "House of Payne".

Answer: Steak

He was cutting, chopping, stirring, and searing a steak for his new guest. All the while, Patsy Cline's "I Fall to Pieces" was playing over the scene. Connor had been a chef on the boat they were on, and said that the steak he'd cooked for her was an Omaha Steak. She never got to finish it, though, because Vida took it from her after Connor left the galley. Omaha Steaks is a company that sells high grade beef, which can be ordered online (when not in the midst of an apocalypse). Mark Kelly played Connor. "Talking Dead"- tonight's guests were Jess McCartney (Reed), Alycia Debnam-Carey (Alicia), and Daniel Zovatto (Jack/Kip). Alycia told Chris Hardwick that the skiing scene playing on the TV was accurate for a fishing vessel. People out at sea for long periods would watch land based nature programs to maintain their mental acuity.

It was revealed later in the episode that Strand had sent Nick ashore to locate Luis. They needed Luis to get into Mexico. Luis was raised with the Abigail family. His mother was in Baja waiting for them to return. "Talking Dead" guests for this episode were Colman Domingo, who plays Strand, and actress/super fan Yvette Nicole Brown. In an onset interview, Frank Dillane said that he believed Nick volunteered to go because he enjoyed staying busy and being useful in this new world. He also understood the world better than the rest of his group. He has been compared to Glenn from "TWD" in his capacity to help with hard tasks and retrieving items.

Answer: Jake

Alex and Jake were originally characters from the web series "Fear the Walking Dead: Flight 462", and now that the two series intersected, they appeared on "FTWD" in this episode. She found him, and he was badly burned. They got into a yellow life raft with three other survivors. One of those was bitten, and knocked out of the raft as a result. Alex had to kill another one of them later (the guy who knocked the first man out of the raft), in order to save Jake. Brendan Meyer played Jake. Though barely recognizable in this episode, Brendan also guest starred on "The 100" and "iZombie". "Talking Dead" guests tonight were WWE wrestler Chris Jericho, Lorenzo James Henrie (who plays Chris), and "FTWD Flight 462" star Michelle Ang (she plays Alex).

From Quiz 2.2 "We All Fall Down"

Answer: San Diego

San Diego was where Strand wanted to go, and more about that was shown later in this episode. The military burned it down, just like they had Los Angeles.

And, she literally meant one day (no nights). She told them at sundown they all had to be off the property. She later relented on them staying, but not Strand, she said he still had to leave at sundown.

Edwards Air Force Base is northeast of Los Angeles in California. Dr. Exner had radioed with someone who told her that helicopters were on the way to evacuate them. So, she told her staff to get ready for transport. San Joaquin Depot is a joint operations base in California, Fort Hood Army Base is in Killeen, Texas, and Andrews Air Force Base is in Camp Springs, Maryland.

It sounded a little like Travis to me. Doug gazed down at a picture of him and his family, and began to cry as Victor ended his tale. Colman Domingo played Victor.

Travis was trying to keep Chris calm, but Chris (as most young people) had adjusted. He wasn't where Tobias was, but he knew things might not ever get better. He felt the wall inside the shop and realized it was getting hot. Then, the wall started to smoke. They had no choice but to run for their lives. The six of them exited the barber shop and saw apocalyptic chaos on the streets. Both living and undead people were killing. Rioters did get in the shop after Daniel opened the door, but not before they were forced to leave.

The series literally opened with Nick being one of the first witnesses to the "infection". He'd spent the night doing drugs with his friends, and found one of them (Gloria) eating someone. She'd likely died of an overdose and then turned sometime in the night. Nick was so freaked out he ran from the building as fast as he could and was hit by a car. Nick was played by Frank Dillane. Frank also played Tom Riddle in "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince". Frank's father is Stephen Dillane, who may be better known as Stannis Baratheon on "Game of Thrones". Lexi Johnson played the show's first zombie, Gloria.

Dwight is in Texas when he discovers his wife again after hearing her on a walkie talkie.

She finds him sick and near death at home. She wants to stay to nurse him, but he has been bitten, and he urges her to leave.

During the initial rioting that occurs at the outbreak of the apocalypse, the police spray a high-pressure hose on rioters standing on scaffolding, which results in the scaffolding crashing down and pinning Griselda's leg. Dr. Exner has Griselda transferred to a medical facility for surgery, but Griselda does not survive. After her leg is amputated, she dies from brain swelling caused by septic shock.

Nick Clark encounters Victor Strand when he is placed in a cage-like cell by the U.S. military. Strand is first show verbally manipulating a fellow cellmate until he causes a scene, which forces the soldiers to remove him from the cage. It is made clear Strand has been bribing the officers, and he offers one a diamond cuff link to allow Nick to stay in the cage because Strand believes he will need Nick's skills to survive.

Reed taunted Chris about his dad, who was a captive of Connor. And, then talked about how awful his own father was and how Connor had cut the man's Achilles tendon. He went on to make future threats toward Ofelia, on what he'd do once he'd been freed by Connor. Daniel's quote was a sobering response to Reed's braggadocios. "TD"- Jess McCartney said he thought of his character (Reed) as an apocalyptic pirate.

He read the worried look in Alex's eyes, and pulled out his phone. It was a type of cellphone that would have been popular back in 2010, when the outbreak happened. At the top of his screen you could clearly read "MOM- Cell" and their conversation was: Mom- "Your dad will still pick you up at 5:30 when you land. I didn't get on." Jake- "What time is the next flight out?" Mom- "7:00am- I'm calling you." She called as the plane was taxiing out to the runway. He tried to keep texting after their call ended, as reports had come in that flights were being grounded. But, his texts did not go through. They'd been on stand by, and he'd gotten the last seat. She had assured him they'd meet up at their destination, even if she had to drive there.
