Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In the first week of the competition, the girls were told to pick a 'bully word' once used against them. Which was not one of them?

Answer: Dodgy

In the start of this cycles, thirty-two girls headed to Los Angeles for casting and the numbers were reduced to a total of fourteen. This time around, with the stakes ever-higher, the girls were sent to Venice Beach to move into their ocean-side house for the next few months. For their first challenge they needed to join in a Diane von Furstenberg runway show on a catwalk suspended four stories above a plaza. During the shoot this week, the girls had 'bully words' and 'power words' painted onto their bodies to combat teen bullying. Anamaria, who was decidedly 'unhealthy thin' according to her peers and the judges, was sent home with the advice to eat something.
2. Which girl was eliminated immediately proceeding the customary make-overs in week two?

Answer: Terra

In the second week of the competition, the models were treated to makeovers to redefine their appearances to be more model-esque. As is usually the case, the girls were required to have their photos taken for a before-and-after shot and, unbeknownst to them, they were being judged by the Jays. Terra, who strongly disliked her look, couldn't get her emotions in check and she was eliminated immediately after. For the shoot this week, the girls posed with male models as fallen angels, each portraying a different emotion while harnessed above their partners. Sara was the least successful with the new look and was sent home, leaving eleven.
3. During week three, the girls notably tried to evoke emotions on which of the following?

Answer: Roller coaster

During week three, the girls went on the Silver Bullet roller coaster at Knott's Berry Farm to portray emotions despite hurtling along the track. Liz won this challenge, properly performing a catalogue pose for the cameras. Shortly after, the girls had to pose in a photo shoot with famous director Matthew Rolston. Ultimately, Rhianna failed to step up in her photo as a mermaid, portraying the same look she'd had the previous two weeks.

She was cut. In the following week, the final ten girls had a runway show in the 2nd Street Tunnel, struggling to get their footing on conveyor belts.

After a photo shoot with luchador wrestlers, Lexie was asked to leave.
4. In week five, which girl set a show record by receiving a fifth consecutive 'best photo', one for each of the five weeks of the competition?

Answer: Ann

During week five, the girls had their customary CoverGirl challenge set at the local Wal-Mart location. This cycle, the girls split into three teams to promote certain products to a test audience. They were graded not only by a judge, but by the audience as well. Kacey, much to the surprise of the other girls, won the challenge while Ann got the lowest score for her awkward personality. During the shoot this week, the girls dressed up on Rodeo Drive to get photos taken by famous photographer Patrick Demarchelier.

This resulted in an action shot, paired shot, and beauty shot. Ann won her fifth consecutive shoot while Kacey, despite winning the challenge, was eliminated.
5. In week six, one of the final eight models won the chance to hand out an award at which ceremony?

Answer: Grammy Awards

The girls visited the headquarters of the Grammy Awards in week six and participated in a challenge where they had to shop for another girl's clothes and present themselves onstage. The task, won by Kayla, ended up resulting in her becoming an award distributor at the proceeding Grammy Awards. That week, during the shoot, the girls had to show what they know about the fashion industry by embodying different famous fashion designers. For the first week thus far, Ann did not take best photo; the honour went to Liz, who posed as John Galliano. Kendal was eliminated for a poor showing as Vera Wang.
6. The final seven ended up performing in a commercial for a fake brand of bottled water with what name?

Answer: H2T

In week seven, the final seven girls were greeted by Zac Posen who invited them to perform in a high fashion runway show for his new collection. While Jay Alexander coached them for the runway, the girls did not know that other models would be intentionally acting catty towards them. Chelsey allegedly had the best walk and she won five Zac Posen original designs.

The following shoot was actually for a fake commercial shot by Nigel Barker (for H2T bottled water) in which the models had to act on rollerskates. Chris had the most vivacious performance while Ann stumbled and fell. Due to her strong track record, she was spared over Esther.
7. In week eight, the final six girls flew to what country for the remainder of the competition?

Answer: Italy

Jay Alexander visited the girls to bring them on a bike tour of Venice Beach and, en route, they encountered Tyra in a gondola. They were soon informed that they would be taking a trip overseas to Venice, Italy to take more photos. Upon their arrival, the girls were taken to their temporary hotel and thrust into a group photo shoot with an Italian Casanova before, very quickly, being sent to Milan and their actual residence.

After trying on garments at the Missoni Fashion House, they had their judging ceremony and Liz was eliminated from the show, leaving five.
8. During their go-sees in week nine, the final five girls all managed to visit which famous fashion house?

Answer: Versace

When week nine rolled around, the girls were unsurprised to finally encounter their go-sees in Milan, Italy. Heading to the IMG Model HQ in Milan, they were given four locations and four hours to visit them all; all of the girls visited the nearby Versace headquarters but only Chelsey was able to get to any of her other locations. Everyone else got lost in the city, back to IMG early, or disqualified. Chelsey won for visiting more than one spot.

This week, at Lake Como, the girls had to depict statues being animated by a sculptor's love; Kayla won best photo while Chris, who hurt her foot during go-sees, was unable to break through the pain for a good shot.
9. For the first time on the show, the final four were directed by Tyra for which of the following?

Answer: A fashion editorial

After acting lessons in the penultimate week of the competition, the girls were asked to meet with the editor of "Vogue Italia", Franca Sozzani, who selected a winner for the interview-- it was Chelsey, who was allowed to view "The Last Supper". In Verona, Italy, Tyra led the models through their next shoot, a fashion editorial film starring all four girls, after which two of the four girls would be eliminated.

When they went to judging panel, Ann and Chelsey were spared and sent to the finals while Jane and Kayla were eliminated.
10. Which model won Cycle 15 of "America's Next Top Model"?

Answer: Ann Ward

In their final week, Ann and Chelsey went off to their Cover Girl commercial and photo shoot and subsequent "Vogue Italia" shoots. After this, they ended up performing in a runway show for none other than Roberto Cavalli. When they stood in front of the panel one final time, it was Ann who won the prize. Ann ended up winning a cover and spread in both "Vogue Italia" and "Beauty in Vogue", also taking with her a $100,000 contract with Cover Girl Cosmetics.

She also received representation with IMG Models. Aside from featuring in print campaigns, Ann also proceeded to model in runway shows after "Top Model".
