Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In their first week of competition, the girls needed to pose in which of these?

Answer: Bald caps

In the first episode of the show, thirteen new girls moved into a modeling agency-themed house in Los Angeles to prepare for a lengthy competition to become America's Next Top Model. Although the girls went to a salon with the expectation that they would be getting makeovers, they were told they'd be going bald...in bald caps that is. Each of the girls had to demonstrate natural beauty posing with Swarovski crystals amongst mannequin heads.

When the girls went to their first judging ceremony, they ended up facing the regular panel-- Twiggy, Nigel Barker, and J. Alexander. Kathy went home this week.
2. In week two, the girls received their makeovers. How many girls ended up receiving red hair?

Answer: None

In week two, the twelve final girls ended up meeting up at the salon to get their makeovers from Jay Manuel. While some girls clearly received boosts of confidence from their new looks, others were disappointed with losing what they thought were their signature locks.

At the same time, all of the girls ended up learning of the look they were expected to portray through the season, even going to a fashion show for up-and-coming designers to pick out new clothes. When the photo shoot was held, the girls ended up posing with ice sculptures in the freezing cold and the judges thought Wendy was too emotional to continue in the competition.
3. During the challenge for week three, the girls perfected their runway walk with which of these?

Answer: Cockroaches

The girls met with J. Alexander for a runway walk lesson and it resulted in Kari tripping on the runway (more than once). When the girls took to wearing train dresses, Danielle also almost ended up falling off. After this, the girls visted Smashbox Studios for a private Jared Gold runway show where they had to pose with leashed Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches. Gina stumbled on the runway and freaked out while Jade won.

After this, the girls had to look good while falling during their shoot as modern day fairy tale characters.

The judging panel asked the girls to walk in tall stilettos and this challenge sent Danielle to see the medic with a sprained ankle. Ultimately, Kari was out over Gina.
4. In week five, the models acted in a commercial for which brand name?

Answer: Cover Girl

In their fourth week, the girls met with Janice Dickinson and former top model candidate Lisa D'Amato to learn the differences between commercial and editorial posing. For their challenges, the girls had to pose for a "Sears" catalogue spread (across the four seasons) showing commercial appeal. The photo challenge involved the girls' future non-modeling goals and high fashion poses. Gina was sent home after several lackluster weeks.

Fainting her way into the models' house in week five, Tyra told the girls that they would be taking an acting class at The Groundlings club and they ended up having an improv session with Nick Cannon for their challenge. Furonda won a spot on "Veronica Mars" and a PSA appearance. After a commercial shoot for the show's sponsors, Cover Girl, in which the girls had to ad lib the majority of the lines within two takes, the models stood in front of the judges and Mollie Sue went home.
5. While advertising Payless in week six, the girls performed which dance style?

Answer: Krump

During their sixth week, the girls ended up getting training from J. Alexander and the 'Aswirl Twins', specifically in regard to accessories and twirling. This led them to a challenge in which churchgoers voted for the best girl (they chose Jade). The shoot for this week had little relevance; the girls went krumping in front of the camera, this time for Payless Shoesource. Joanie skyrocketed to the top of the models, a position she would dominate throughout the competition, while Leslie was asked to leave.
6. Which model elected to have teeth removed in this cycle?

Answer: Joanie

Girls went for a go-see in their seventh week and all eight remaining models ended up facing off against a very rude actress/former model who would test their patience; they were not actually getting booked. Jade won and chose Nnenna to share in her reward-- family members (and Nnenna's boyfriend).

The girls were offered oral surgery (which Joanie took, though Danielle accepted at a later time to close the gap in her teeth) and had a shoot for Pantene Pro-V shampoo where all of them had to dress as life-sized dolls.

This included a ventriloquist dummy, a rag doll, and a mannequin. Another shoot was held the next day by Tyra; it also included a meet and greet with Janice Dickinson and Eva Pigford. When the judges evaluated the girls it was Brooke who went home.
7. To which international destination did the contestants travel in this cycle?

Answer: Thailand

After learning how to deal with interview questions, Danielle had her oral surgery done and the girls flew to Bangkok, their international locale this cycle, to join in some unique, new shoots. In a Banana Boat-inspired shoot, the girls needed to dress as mermaids and be suspended upside-down.

While most of the girls were very successful this time around, it was Nnenna who was sent home (to the shock of many who considered her a front-runner) because the judges didn't think she was capable of learning more and excelling past the other contestants.
8. In the ninth week, the girls advertized Venus razors with which animals?

Answer: Elephants

The ninth week of the competition featured the five remaining models taking a look into Thai culture. They were taught traditional Thai dances and, for their challenge, had to perform what they learned for an audience. While Joanie and Sara went on the reward with the editor of "Elle Thailand", Danielle went to the hospital.

The shoot this week involved posing with elephants to promote Venus Vibrance razors and Furonda went home despite Jade's continued bad attitude in front of the judges and other girls.
9. In week ten, how many of the girls were late returning from their go-sees?

Answer: All four

In the penultimate week of the competition, the girls went through Bangkok on a series of go-sees. Before this, they had to abide by local customs and buy a small gift for each designer. They also had to travel by tuk-tuk to each one and return by a certain time. None of the girls arrived on time due to a traffic jam (or, in Jade's case, due to a decision to visit every address regardless of time). None of them won the prize.

After this, the girls went to Phuket for a shoot taken by Nigel Barker on the beach.

When they returned to the panel in Bangkok, it was Sara who went home leaving only three girls.
10. What model won this sixth cycle of "America's Next Top Model"?

Answer: Danielle

The final three had their shoots with Cover Girl, as is usual of the top models. Jade was let go from the show (finally) because of her poor attitude and tendency to be arrogant, even on the job. The final two girls ended up going to their runway shoot in Thailand and, when they were finally compared by the judges, it was Danielle who was given the title.

Danielle Evans won the standard "America's Next Top Model" prize including the contract with U.S. agency Ford Models, the cover and spread for "Elle" magazine, and the Cover Girl cosmetics contract worth $100,000. After the show, she appeared in a number of magazines, continued her work with Cover Girl, and posed for Victoria's Secret.
