Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Switched Hector's heart medication in an attempt to kill Hector.

Answer: Nacho Varga

With Tuco Salamanca in jail, Nacho (Michael Mando) was Hector's right-hand man. But when Hector told Nacho that he wanted to use Nacho's father to transport his product across the border, Nacho tried to discourage it, pointing out that his father wasn't in the business.

Hector didn't care; he had made the decision. Nacho was worried that his father would call the police and would then end up dead, so he decided to take out Hector before that happened. Hector had a bad heart and would take nitroglycerin pills whenever he felt an attack coming on. Nacho managed to get one of the capsules and then had Pryce/Daniel Wormald (Mark Proksch) supply him with empty capsules. Nacho filled the empty capsules with ibuprofen and in a stressful scene, switched out the real capsules with the fake ones.

In the last episode of the season, Hector had an attack and took the fake pills, which resulted in him collapsing and having CPR performed on him by none other than his nemesis, Gus Fring.
2. Was hired by Jimmy and Kim from the Motor Vehicle Division.

Answer: Francesca Liddy

Francesca (Tina Parker) was the first candidate that Jimmy and Kim interviewed for their receptionist position. Kim wanted to interview more candidates, but Jimmy was in a hurry; he had a commercial airing in a few minutes after the interview and needed someone to handle the phone calls.

While Kim would have liked to have hired someone with legal experience, Jimmy pointed out that working at the Motor Vehicle Division was a stressful position, and if she could survive there, she would do fine. Jimmy won, and he quickly molded Francesca into the homey person he needed to deal with his elderly clients.
3. Climbed over fences to reach Chuck's house through the backyard.

Answer: Howard Hamlin

Howard (Patrick Fabian) had many wonderful scenes in season three, but one of the best had to be when he was climbing over fences to reach Chuck's house through the backyard, taking time after each fence to readjust his suit and tie. Chuck was trying to catch Jimmy breaking into his house, and he didn't want Howard to be seen near it, so he had asked Howard to park on another block and enter the house through the back door.

Besides being an amusing scene, it summed up Howard's relationship with Chuck -- always having to jump through hoops for him.
4. His shop was raided by DEA agents.

Answer: Hector Salamanca

Mike still wanted revenge on Hector Salamanca (Mark Margolis) for killing a good Samaritan so he targeted Hector's ice cream truck as it was headed north toward the Mexican/U.S. Border. Mike put a packet of drugs in the toe of a sneaker, tossed the sneakers onto a utility line, and as Hector's truck passed underneath, he shot the sneaker, releasing the drugs onto the truck.

The truck was seized at the border, thanks to a drug-sniffing pup, and Hector's ice cream shop was later raided in Albuquerque, while Mike watched from a distance.
5. Was used as a pawn by Jimmy to settle the Sandpiper lawsuit.

Answer: Irene Landry

When Jimmy found out that Irene Landry (Jean Effron) had received a settlement offer for the Sandpiper class action lawsuit, he wanted her to accept it so that he could get his share, but he couldn't directly ask her to do so. Instead, he poisoned her friends against her, in the hopes that she would settle the lawsuit to please them.

But while his plan appeared to have worked, he wasn't able to get her friends to reconcile with her, and he was forced to reveal his shenanigans indirectly to them through a microphone he was wearing while he was talking privately to Erin Brill (Jessie Ennis) of Davis and Main.
6. Disassembled his car, looking for a tracking device.

Answer: Mike Ehrmantraut

Last season, Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks) received a mysterious note on his windshield when he was trying to shoot Hector at his desert hideout. Realizing that someone had tracked him there, Mike drove his car to a junkyard where he proceeded to take it apart, looking for a tracking device.

He finally located the device in the gas cap, and when the junkyard attendant asked him what he wanted to do about his car that was now in pieces, Mike told the man to keep it.
7. Found Jimmy's watch in a trash bin.

Answer: Gus Fring

Mike had followed the tracking device to a chicken restaurant, Los Pollos Hermanos, but he didn't want to go inside because someone in the restaurant apparently knew who he was, so he contacted Jimmy to do the dirty work. Jimmy was absolutely awful at surveillance, unintentionally drawing attention to himself.

When the man that Mike asked Jimmy to watch left the restaurant, Jimmy thought that he might have dropped something in the trash bin, so he shoved his head and torso into the bin, looking for anything the man might have left.

When owner Gustavo Fring (Giancarlo Esposito) asked if Jimmy needed help, Jimmy quickly dropped his watch in the bin and told Gus that he had lost it. Gus then put on plastic gloves and searched in the bin to locate the watch.

While Jimmy thought he got away clean, Gus knew something was up.
8. Hired Mike as a consultant to launder Mike's money.

Answer: Lydia Rodarte-Quayle

Mike still had most of the $250k that he stole from Hector Salamanca's truck, which he kept hidden under a floor board in a closet, but he was worried that his family wouldn't get the money if something happened to him. He approached Gus Fring to see about getting his money laundered, and Gus arranged for him to meet with Lydia Rodarte-Quayle (Laura Fraser). Lydia was a logistics manager for a German company named Madrigal, and her plan was to put Mike on the books as a consultant making $10k a week, and he'd 'work' for twenty or so weeks until his money was clean. Mike wasn't too keen on having his name on their books, but he eventually agreed.
9. Received a $3 million check from Howard.

Answer: Chuck McGill

After breaking down during Jimmy's disbarment hearing, Chuck McGill (Michael McKean) was at a crossroads, as Howard put it - he could start anew or continue down his path of revenge against Jimmy. But when the malpractice insurance company informed Howard and Chuck that the premiums for all of their practicing attorneys would be doubling, and Chuck then threatened to sue them, Howard decided that it was best for HHM and Chuck to part ways.

He suggested that Chuck retire as a partner emeritus, but Chuck was having none of that - he wanted HHM to buy him out for $8 million or he'd sue for breach of contract.

He knew the firm didn't have the money, and he must have expected Howard to back down, but instead, Howard gave him a $3 million check out of his (Howard's) personal funds as a first installment to buy Chuck out.
10. Was injured in a single-car accident.

Answer: Kim Wexler

Kim Wexler (Rhea Seehorn) was working around the clock with the Mesa Verde case, often sleeping in the office and showering at the gym across the street. When she became concerned about Jimmy not being able to pay his share of the office expenses, she took on another client, Gatwood Oil.

While on her way to a client meeting for Gatwood stakeholders, she apparently fell asleep or blacked out while driving and crashed her car into some boulders down an embankment. She was dazed and bloodied from the air bag and ended up being treated for a broken arm.
