Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Chef ends up leaving South Park to join which of the following groups before his untimely death?

Answer: Super Adventure Club

Chef ends up leaving South Park for several months, only returning after spending a great deal of time with the Super Adventure Club. Something is wrong though-- the longer Chef spends with the people of South Park, the more they discover he wants to sleep with children.

The boys investigate and even try to undo the club's brainwashing techniques, but to no avail. Chef ends up escaping the Club's grasp temporarily, but ends up returning to them in the end, leaving the kids heartbroken. As he tries to cross the rope bridge to the Super Adventure Clubhouse, it breaks, sending him careening into a ravine, impaling him on a sharp rock, and leaving him to get eaten by a bear and a mountain lion.
2. A horrible smug storm hits both San Francisco and South Park, only because the people of both locations have purchased which of these?

Answer: Hybrid cars

When Kyle's father forces the Broflovskis to leave South Park for San Francisco because of a serious need to be more progressive, Stan convinces South Park's citizens to buy hybrid cars in the hope that Kyle can return, but it only causes more problems.

The important fact is that hybrid cars are causing the citizens of both to emit large clouds of smug, and when the two of them combine (with George Clooney's smug Oscar speech) they create a perfect storm, destroying San Francisco completely and ruining all the hybrid cars of South Park. Since no one can have a hybrid without being smug about it, they vow not to drive them anymore; they're just not ready.
3. American citizens are forced to bury their heads in the sand as what animated TV show makes attempts to depict the Muslim prophet of Muhammed onscreen?

Answer: Family Guy

In "Cartoon Wars" (Parts I and II), the writers of the TV show "Family Guy"-- who turn out to be a group of manatees selecting near-randomized ideas from a series of coloured balls in a large tank-- elect to show the Prophet Muhammad on their cartoon, prompting severe backlash from the Islam community and instilling fear in the American populace.

While millions literally bury their heads in the sand, Cartman and Kyle both head to Los Angeles with different agendas. Ultimately, Muhammad is shown (but blocked by Comedy Central), and nothing bad really happens.
4. After writing an alleged autobiography, Towelie appears on what talk show?

Answer: The Oprah Winfrey Show

To avoid having to find a real job and to make something of himself, Towelie ends up writing his own book based on his life but, unfortunately, can't seem to find a publisher since he's just a talking towel. When he decides to pretend he's human, however, things fall into place...that is until the whole charade is unveiled and he's decried on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" for lying to the public like James Frey. Things only fix themselves after a hostage situation emerges, leading Towelie to become a hero and landing Oprah in a hospital.
5. The boys become trapped in a cave-in when they follow Al Gore around searching for a fabled creature. Which of these elements is not found in said creature?

Answer: Cat

After Al Gore arrives in South Park claiming to search for the evil 'ManBearPig' (half-man, half-bear, half-pig), the boys follow him to the Cave of the Winds (though only because he seems like a lonely man) and he ends up causing a cave-in, trapping the four inside.

While Al Gore leads a funeral and memorial service for the boys, they end up escaping-- Cartman thinking he escaped with pirate treasure-- revealing Gore for the fame-seeker he is. 'ManBearPig' is never found.
6. What TV show is successful in curbing Cartman's bad behaviour at home?

Answer: The Dog Whisperer

When Liane Cartman is finally fed up with Cartman's uncontrollable nature, she ends up forcing her son to appear on both "Nanny 911" and "Supernanny", but in both instances he manages to win out over the nannies that visit the household, even sending the latter to an asylum.

The final straw ends up being to bring in Cesar Milian, host of "The Dog Whisperer", who uses his dominance techniques not only to put an end to Eric's tendencies and change him for the better, but to give Liane a new outlook on her future. Things change, however, the minute Cesar leaves her life, and she goes back to unnecessarily coddling her son, undoing the training.
7. Which of these South Park residents is instrumental in helping the boys defeat the strongest player in "World of Warcraft"?

Answer: Randy Marsh

The boys, fascinated with the online MMORPG "World of Warcraft", are disheartened when a super-strong player keeps killing them and taking over the server and, as such, they vow to train themselves in secret over weeks and weeks of mindless grinding to win the final battle.

They succeed, in turn gaining tons of weight issues and missing out on real life, but in the end it comes down to the team at Blizzard to create a brand new weapon and deliver it to the boys, in-game, via Randy's character (who dies in the battle).

At the end of it all, the boys are just happy to keep playing.
8. Which of the boys ends up visiting Satan's Super Sweet 2006 party in Los Angeles?

Answer: Butter

Trying to plan a big party, Satan ends up booking a major Los Angeles venue and invites tons of real celebrities and dead people from Hell to join him for a selfish 'Super Sweet 16-esque' event. What follows, however, is a problem since Satan clearly makes the celebration about him, even going so far as to lose his cool when Jeffrey Dahmer, John Wayne Gacy, and Ted Bundy accidentally destroy his Ferrarri cake (meaning that Satan's adviser needs to bring in a less-cool Acura cake on short notice, even though no one really cares that there's a difference). Meanwhile, Butters summons the spirit of Biggie Smalls and is convinced to bring him to Los Angeles so as to avoid missing the party.
9. Cartman freezes himself and travels to the distant future so that he doesn't need to wait to play which of these?

Answer: Nintendo Wii

With only a couple weeks left before the Nintendo Wii releases, Cartman's patience is tested to the point where he decides simply to freeze himself in the snow. Unfortunately, he gets lost in an avalanche and is thawed in the year 2546 in a future where Richard Dawkins (convinced by Mrs. Garrison) has influenced atheism to such an extent as to start wars between factions (one of which is a race of super-intelligent otters). Cartman tries desperately to find a Nintendo Wii in the future but realizes he simply needs to go back in time to fix things, and by manipulating the past he finally creates a future in which he can do so.

When he goes back in time to six weeks before the release, however...
10. To pay off his bike towing fees, Stan ends up needing to coach a team in what sport?

Answer: Hockey

In "Stanley's Cup", Stan loses his newspaper job when his bike is towed, and to pay the fines the city puts him to work coaching young children how to play hockey (though his father is confident he's doing it to recompense for a horrible hockey game he played in his youth). Stan is fine with this, but things escalate when his rag-tag team of children has to be motivated into playing a game for a teammate with cancer.

In the end, the boys end up, unexpectedly, playing against the Detroit Red wings in Denver, ultimately losing horribly and seriously injuring themselves.
