Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In episode one "Big Brother", what is it that Del has been selling from the back of the three wheeled van?

Answer: One legged turkeys

"Big Brother" was the very first episode of "Only Fools and Horses". Just after the start of the episode, when Del is talking of his next money making scheme, Rodney makes reference to the one legged turkeys they have been flogging out the back of the van.

This is the episode in which they buy the combination code vinyl briefcases from Trigger (the codes were on a slip of paper, locked inside the box) and Rodney becomes Del's financial advisor (and isn't very good at it!).
2. In "Go West Young Man" Del and Rodney visit a nightclub. On what do the girls write their telephone numbers which Del then loses?

Answer: Cigar Pack

In this episode, Del and Rodney borrow Boycie's E-type Jaguar, and visit a nightclub. This is the one in which Rodney states he's never smoked astro-turf when trying to convince two ladies that he is an international tennis player. Del loses the cigar pack when forced to make an emergency stop on the way home.
3. In "Cash and Curry" what is the name of the place where the dance is held?

Answer: Camberwell Chamber of Trade

In this episode, Del has to try and find £2,000 to buy an indian ornament and return it to it's 'rightful' owners. However, once again the brothers are stitched up when they realise they have paid £2000 for an ornament that is in all Indian restaurants and is practically worthless.
4. Also in "Cash and Curry" what are the names of the two conmen that cheat Del into parting with his money?

Answer: Vimmal Malik and Mr Ram

Of course, it's Vimmal Malik and Mr Ram. They pretend to be rivals trying to get their hands on an ancient ornament, but in fact they are conmen and in on it together.
5. In "Second Time Around" what is the name of the Aunt that Del, Rodney and Grandad go to stay with?

Answer: Aunt Rose

In "Second Time Around" Del gets back with his old flame Pauline. When things get out of hand, the boys go to stay with their Aunt Rose. Unfortunately although 'Aunt Rose' feeds them and chats to them, it soon turns out that she isn't their aunt - Rose had moved many years earlier!
6. In "Slow Bus to Chingford" what is the name of the 'new' company Del has set up, of which Rodney is the unfortunate only employee?

Answer: Trotter Watch

This episode sees Del's new money making scheme of 'Ethnic Tours' on an open top bus. The only way he could get the bus company to let him use the bus was to get them a trainee night watchman (aka Rodney) under his 'new' company title of Trotter Watch.
7. In "The Russians Are Coming" what is the name of the policeman that stops the three-wheel van on a trial run to get to the fall-out shelter?

Answer: Eric

Del has purchased a nuclear fall-out shelter, and gets stopped by the police whilst the boys are trying to beat the clock to get to shelter. The policeman is Eric, who rather than stopping Del for speeding, has stopped him to thank Del for some stuff he sold him.
8. In "Christmas Crackers" what is the name of the club which Del and Rodney visit?

Answer: The Monte Carlo Club

When Grandad goes off to his OAP Christmas dinner at the Community Centre, Del and Rodney try to relieve their boredom by visiting the Monte Carlo Club. The boys end up in an argument over whose 'pulling' technique is the best, which by the time they have finished, the ladies have been whisked away by someone else.
9. Returning to "Second Time Around", what greets the boys when they return to the flat after Pauline has left?

Answer: Phone connected to the speaking clock

10. Back to "Go West Young Man". What is the name of the bird (slang for woman) which Mickey Pearce has pinched from Rodney?

Answer: Monica

During this episode, we learn that Rodney is depressed because his latest girlfriend Monica has been pinched by Mickey Pearce. There was a long running competition between Rodney, Mickey and Jevron during the first couple of series to see who could pull the most girls.
