The class is gone for an archaeological trip, so they can be seen at the beginning of the episode listening to an explanation from an archaeologist. Cartman yells "boring" and everybody laughs, waking up their teacher, Mr. Garrison. Mr. Garrison, covering his face with a newspaper, tells him to shut up since he's trying to sleep.

In an attempt to make the kids more interested, they are given pickaxes and encouraged to dig for fossils.

2. During the fossil dig, a certain character finds a triangle, but Cartman claims it as his own. Which kid, who comes from England, originally found the triangle?

Answer: Pip

Pip is a character often depicted being bullied by the other kids. While the kids dig with their pickaxes, Pip yells he found one of the black triangles, and Cartman immediately claims it was his discovery. Cartman proposes a way of solving the problem: he would kick Pip in the testicles, and then Pip would return it, and the first kid to fall loses. Since Cartman started, we all know what happened next!

After Pip lies on the ground screaming in pain, the rest of the kids laugh, and Cartman says he doesn't want the triangle anyway.

3. While digging, Cartman finds another triangle but doesn't want it and throws it, and Kyle picks it up. At night, the news report Kyle's discovery. Which of these is a description of the reporter?

4. The next day, Leonard Maltin shows up and asks Chef if he has seen Barbra Streisand recently. Meanwhile, the singer's helicopter lands in front of the kids. What color was Streisand's helicopter?

Leonard Maltin, or as Chef welcomes him, "that film critic guy on TV", appears at the school cafeteria. He asks Chef if he has seen Barbra Streisand, and that it is very important that he finds the kids who found the triangle before it's too late.

While the kids are building a snowman, a pink helicopter lands, and Cartman thinks it's aliens. Barbra Streisand comes out of the vehicle, and asks for the boy in the news report (Kyle). The kids leave after Officer Barbrady interrupts.

5. While driving to Streisand's condo in the mountains, Chef stops the car and demands to know what this is all about. Leonard Maltin explains that Barbra Streisand's father was an insurance salesman, while her mother was what?

Answer: A jackal

Maltin says that Barbra Streisand is self-centered and egotistical, and that she is looking for an artifact known as the Diamond of Pantheos. Streisand started being interested in this diamond when she was 6 years old.

6. According to Maltin, the Diamond of Pantheos was split into two pieces. During the shooting of which of these, based on George Bernard Shaw's "Pygmalion", did Barbra Streisand find one of the triangles?

7. Streisand appears at the bus stop where the kids are wearing a mask, and introduces herself as Mrs. Jones. She says that the triangle is part of her dialysis machine for which organ?

Streisand says that the triangle is part of her kidney dialysis machine, and that she would die within hours without it. Since this doesn't convince the kids, "Mrs. Jones" offers them money in exchange for the triangle. She talks them into going with her to her condo, and says "where I'll kill you, I mean, give you money". Kyle points out the "rule" about not getting into cars with strangers, but Cartman argues it doesn't apply when money is involved.

8. At Streisand's condo, the kids are tied up and tortured with Barbra singing, until Cartman gives up and surrenders the triangle. Streisand then becomes a giant robotic dinosaur, and when she starts destroying the town, Uncle Jimbo says that's the biggest ____ he's ever seen. Which word fills in the blank?

Uncle Jimbo, who can frequently be seen hunting, says that's the biggest deer he's ever seen. After being tortured with Streisand's singing, Cartman surrenders the triangle, which was hidden inside his shoe. Barbra then completes the Diamond of Pantheos, turning into a giant mechanical monster and destroying the town.

9. Mecha-Streisand causes chaos in South Park, so the Mayor calls the National Guard for help. While this happens, whose mom approaches Streisand asking for an autograph?

The National Guard fire their weapons against Mecha-Streisand, but they have no effect. Mrs. Broflovski, Kyle's mom, says she's a huge fan and asks for an autograph, which she gets. Maltin turns into a robot but Mecha-Streisand easily defeats him. Then, actor Sidney Poitier appears and becomes a giant turtle, but is also fended off by Streisand. While escaping, Kenny stops to play tetherball, but ends up being strangled by it and dies.

At the end of the episode, Robert Smith saves the town from Streisand, sending her to space. Kyle says that he learned that "people who want power always end up dead", and gets rid of the triangles. However, Kyle's brother Ike takes the triangles and becomes Mecha-Ike, ending the episode.
