Juanita Sanchez, better known as Princess, makes her first appearance in season 10, episode 14 "Look at the Flowers." The character is played by Paola Lázaro. In the episode "Splinter," the audience learns of Juanita's abusive and negligent stepfather, who once locked her in a closet. She got a splinter as she tried to chip her way out. This later resulted in a serious infection that kept her home from school briefly.

Her mom, however, forced her to return to school before the hand had healed, and it became re-infected once again - a fact her negligent mother did not appear to notice.
