Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Was is the name of Alec Hardison's kid sister?

Answer: Breanna

Hardison's kid sister Breanna Casey turns out to be a skilled hacker on her own, and she has been spying on the Leverage team using drones. They discover her hiding out in a Brick and Basil food truck in Panama City. She begs them to let her work on the Panama job, and she does prove to be a valuable asset, hacking into the building's security systems.

Breanna is played by Aleyse Shannon. Breanna is an apprentice of Parker, who taught her about crime because "Crime is fun." Shannon started her acting career in 2018, as Jada Shields during the first season of the reboot of "Charmed" (2018-19). She also appeared in the 2020 horror film "Black Christmas."
2. What is the name of the celebrity DJ Sophie convinces to perform at nightclub in "The Panamanian Monkey Job"?

Answer: Com4rat

The crew organizes an ADM concert, a last minute rave promoted on social media. They use a sound check for the concert to create loud enough vibrations to mess with the building's security systems.

Using a phony animal rights video, Sophie manages to get the DJ Com4rat (pronounced comorant) to show up for the impromptu concert. Comarant's gimmick is to perform in a mouse mask. They crank the volume up to 120 decibels to foul up with building's security monitors. The DJ is a bit of an eccentric, as he likes to hide his identity as a statement.

It turns out that Ryan Corbett (one of the bad guys this episode) is a big fan of Com4rat. He claims to have seen the DJ in Detroit, Las Vegas, Ibiza and Tokyo.
3. What subtle "Doctor Who" reference do Sophie and Hardison use in "The Panamanian Monkey Job?"

Answer: Jo Grant and Alistair Lethbridge Stewart

Writers threw in stray "Doctor Who" references several times during the original "Leverage." Sophie and Hardison go old school this time around, identifying themselves as Jo Grant and Alistar Lethbridge Stewart, members of MI-6, the British intelligence agency.

Jo Grant was a companion of the Third Doctor (Jon Pertwee) who worked for UNIT, which was led by Brigadier Alistair Lethbridge Stewart. The Brigadier worked with a variety of different Doctors over the years.
4. "Let's Go Steal" what in "The Panamanian Money Job?"

Answer: 20 million dollars

Sophie once again gets the "Let's go steal" line after Parker blanks on it. Their target this time: stealing $20 million that belongs to Fletcher Maxwell that is stored in a high security vault in a former CIA building in Panama City.

Parker manages to lift $20 million in bearer bonds, which they will use to compensate the victims of Maxwell's opiod scheme.
5. What is the name of owner of the secret vaults in Panama?

Answer: Ryan Corbett

Corbett is known to Eliott by reputation. He is a ruthless mercenary. The shady vault dealer confronts Breanna about the concert, but is persuaded when Breanna claims to be in it solely for the money. Corbett stores a wide range of items in his vaults - gold, diamonds, drugs, file cabinets, address books.

Harry manages to place a bomb inside Corbett's vault, which destroys valuables belonging to some of the world's most dangerous psychopaths. Corbett and Maxwell are likely to be running for a very long time.

Dan Cortese played Corbett. He acted regularly in films and television between 1993 and 2010. His credits include being a regular on "Veronica's Closet" (1997-2000), "What I Like About You" (2003-2006) and "Surviving Suburbia" (2009).

John Safer was Harry's boss at his former law firm. Diego was one of the security guards at Sentinel Offshore and Ramos was the judge that Maxwell attempted to bribe. Dean Devlin is executive producer of the new series. Devlin directed "The Panamanian Monkey Job" (2021).
6. What did Harry place in the vaults for his fictional client?

Answer: gold bars

Hardison creates a set of fake gold bars, including one set made out of C4, which provides a nasty surprise for Corbett at the end of the episode. Harry has Corbett place 100 kilos (220 pounds) of fake gold in his vaults.

The vaults have fairly elaborate security, but Hardison manages to sneak a secret camera into the tumbler mechanism and Parker manages to work her way through a laser grid.
7. What is the name of the phony organization Sophie creates to promote the concert and leverage the DJ into performing?

Answer: The Human-Animal Alliance

They release a video with a poster saying "Spider Monkey Productions." Sophie creates a phony video shaming the DJ into performing at the concert - hooray, social media!

Sophie claims that the DJ was performing for a corporate executive whose company is destroying the rain forest, threatening the habitat of spider monkers. A short while later, Sophie has shamed the DJ into performing for her non-existent animal rights organization.
8. Where was the remote monitoring system for Sentinel Offshore?

Answer: The Phillipines

Corbett mentions that it is in the Philippines and Breanna intercepts a call from Manila. For the record, the password was "pomegranate."
9. What country does Hardison leave for at the end of "The Panamanian Monkey Job"?

Answer: Sri Lanka

Hardison is leaving for Sri Lanka to deal with a currency crisis and prevent the economic collapse of the island nation. Parker tries to talk Hardison into taking Breana with him, but he decides his sister should spend time with the Leverage team.

Sri Lanka is an island nation south of India. While it did have a thirty year civil war that included domestic terrorism, it has been relatively stable since 2010.
10. Where is the Leverage team's new base of operations?

Answer: New Orleans

The team moves to Harry's home town of New Orleans and creates a new office in the French Quarter. During the original series, they had been based in Nathan's home town of Boston.

The crew manages to convince Sophie to stay and help out. Hardison bought the building and renovated it before leaving to solve a crisis overseas. Harry decides to stay and help the team in order to redeem his past as a corporate fixer.
