Don't let the name deceive you, the Greatsword is actually an Ultra-Greatsword, and outweighs the Zweihander. The Gravelord Sword is a Curved-Greatsword, and is recognized for its signature thrust attack, as well as its unique (provided you don't have the DLC) ability to apply the Toxic status.

Hah! If only the Four Kings were not mandatory. The Taurus Demon can be skipped, provided you have the Master Key. You just have to go through Havel instead.

Ironically enough, the Gold Tracer is the only curved sword that CAN'T parry. The Murakumo is a Curved-Greatsword and the Partizan is a spear, neither of which possess parrying capabilities.

While you might never think it, the Capra Demon's one handed attacks and the Heavy Knights' swings (excluding the shield bash) can all be parried, just not riposted. The Infested Barbarians using clubs can be parried. The Royal Sentinels in Anor Londo however, are not susceptible, so you'll have to find other methods of dealing with them.

Whilst Sif, the Capra Demon, and Manus all have tails, they cannot be cut off (though the community has made many attempts). Cutting Priscilla's tail off will reward you with Priscilla's Dagger, a nifty weapon with S scaling in Dexterity once it's fully upgraded (it's also tied with the Lifehunt Scythe for highest bleed modifier in the game).

Priscilla's Dagger, the Moonlight Greatsword, and the Dragon Tooth are the only dragon weapons that have scaling damage. Of these three, the Dragon Tooth has the lowest scaling, but also the highest base damage to compensate.

Havel's may be on top for Poise and Magic Defense, but the Giant's set has the highest Physical Defense in the game once fully upgraded. The Giant's set is one of the popular armor sets in the game due to this, and has also made it's way into the (in?)famous "Giantdad" build.

Thrusting Swords have a hop-back-and-swipe move to replace the kick. While it certainly has its utilities and looks cool, a time may come where you'll miss that un-parryable guard breaker.

Wielded in both hands at 99 Strength and 99 Intelligence, the Enchanted Great Club +5 will have an attack rating of 823. It hits like a truck, but swings just as fast.
