1. Which of these Knights are sworn to protect Anor Londo, City of the Gods, and the illusory Goddess herself?

Answer: Silver Knights

The silver knights of Lord Gwyn watch over the abandoned city of Gods, Anor Londo. Their engraved shields are blessed by Gwynevere herself, and they wield slender, elegant, but deadly weapons. They include the Silver Knight Straight Sword and the Silver Knight Spear. In addition, certain knights also wield the infamous Dragonslayer Greatbow for ranged attacks.

2. At which locations in Lordran are the two Bells of Awakening?

Answer: Undead Parish & Quelaag's Domain

The first Bell of Awakening that most players will ring is the bell at the Undead Parish church. Slay the gargoyles with the assistance of friendly phantoms and climb to the top of the church to ring this bell.

The second Bell of Awakening is deep in Quelaag's Domain, where the Chaos Witch herself and her sister, the Fair Lady, resides. Summon in Maneater Mildred for help, and you can ring the second Bell of Awakening!

3. The rare Titanite Slab is an upgrade material found across Lordran and Oolacile. Like most titanites, it can be broken down into smaller chunks and shards. If you were to break down a Titanite Slab, how many Titanite Shards can you get?

Answer: 30 Shards

The coveted Titanite Slab can be broken down by offering it to the primordial serpent, Kingseeker Frampt. You can break down one slab into two chunks. There, you can continue to break down a titanite chunk into three large shards. These large titanite shards can be broken down into five titanite shards. In total, one slab can be broken down into 30 shards.

4. In the game, there are many weapons with different requirements to wield. Which of the following weapons require the most DEXTERITY to wield effectively?

Answer: Gold Tracer

This curved sword used by Ciaran requires 25 Dexterity to wield, which is the highest dexterity requirement. It also scales with an S in Dexterity (the best scaling!)
The Painting Guardian Sword requires 20 Dexterity to wield, and has an A scaling with it.
The Dragonslayer Spear, born from the Soul of Ornstein, requires 24 Dexterity, along with 24 Strength. It has a B scaling for Dexterity, C in Strength, and C in Faith (Although there are no minimum requirement for it).
The Black Bow of Pharis requires 18 Dexterity, and has an S scaling at +15.

5. Regular weapons, as well as some special weapons, have the ability to be buffed with pine resins which add effects to the weapons. Which of the following resins does NOT exist in the game?

Answer: Blessed Pine Resin

Charcoal Pine Resin adds a fire damage effect, and can be purchased from the Undead Female Merchant in the aqueduct passage from Firelink Shrine for 500 souls.

Golden Pine Resin adds a lightning damage effect, and can be obtained from Domhall for a limited amount. Alternatively, they can be found from looting the Mushroom enemies (both parent and child) in the Darkroot Forest.

Rotten Pine Resin adds a poison effect, and can be purchased from the same Undead Female Merchant for 1000 souls.

6. Oswald of Carim can be found in the Undead Parish church tower. There, he offers services such as removing sins, abandoning from covenants, and selling various items. Attack him however, and he will see that you are dead. Which one of the following weapons does he use to fight you?

Answer: Velka's Rapier

When aggravated, Oswald will cast Karmic Justice miracle with Velka's Talisman. In close combat, he wields Velka's Rapier and the Parrying Dagger. Other miracles he will use include Vow of Silence and Great Heal.

The Shotel is used by Lautrec of Carim. He carries two of these deadly curved swords and attack in rapid succession. In addition, he can parry with a parrying dagger.

The Estoc is used by the Darkmoon Knightess (aka Lady of the Darkling) at the Anor Londo bonfire. She can buff her weapon with the Darkmoon Blade miracle, and also has a parrying dagger.

The Sniper Crossbow is wielded by Marvelous Chester. This is a deadly weapon in mid-range and long-range because he can fire multiple bolts quickly.

7. Later in Tomb of the Giants, you will encounter a number of Pinwheel's Servants. Which of these types of titanite slabs and chunks do they drop when killed?

Answer: White

Pinwheel's Servants drop white titanite chunks and slabs upon death. That is, if you have high enough item discovery stats. If not, have fun grinding away at them!

Also, white titanite is used for upgrading Divine weapons from +5 to +10, or upgrading Occult weapons from 0 to +5.

8. In Anor Londo, you will find Seigmeyer of Catarina. He is unable to progress because there are enemies blocking his way. If you defeat these enemies, which ring does he gift you?

Answer: Tiny Being's Ring

Seigmeyer of Catarina drops you the Tiny Being's Ring should you kill the three Silver Knights in the room. In addition, it can be selected as a starting gift, but it is highly NOT recommended.

The Speckled Stoneplate Ring can be acquired by killing Seigmeyer. Beware, this will stop Seigmeyer's quest line.

The Blue Tearstone Ring is found in Undead Burg, guarded by a Black Knight. Seigmeyer has this ring equipped, but he never gives it to you.

The Old Witch's Ring can be obtained as a starting gift, or by trading the Sunlight Maggot with Snuggly the Crow in the Northern Undead Asylum.

9. This knight is rumored to be from the Kingdom of Berenike, but no one is sure. He wields a Greatsword, the Black Iron Greatshield, and Black Iron Armor. He will assist you in defeating the Iron Golem in Sen's Fortress if you can find his white soapstone sign. Who is he?

Answer: Black Iron Tarkus

Black Iron Tarkus is the friendly phantom who can be summoned to help defeat the Iron Golem. He wields the Greatsword and the Black Iron Greatshield. His name means 'wisdom' in Estonian. Try it!

10. Which of the following weapons has NO Dexterity requirements to wield?

Answer: Jagged Ghost Blade

The Jagged Ghost Blade requires only 5 Strength to wield, making it one of the most accessible curved swords due to the bleed, damage per second, and base damage. However, it scales with an E in Strength and cannot be buffed with resins or spells.

The Warpick requires 11 Strength and 10 Dexterity. At +15, it has a C/D Scaling.

The Uchigatana requires 14 Strength and 14 Dexterity. At +15, it has a E/A Scaling.

The Tin Banishment Catalyst requires 10 Strength, 10 Dexterity, and 12 Intelligence. It has an E/D/A Scaling.
