Answer: Lara

Lara is Michael's very young daughter, and future Pack leader. She tells her father to leave Derik alone, as Derik is feeling sad and stuck. She's correct too, because Derik was becoming Alpha. Michael is Pack Aplha, and there can only be one per family.
Lara to her father: "I said leave him alone."
Michael's response: "What did you say Lara?"
Lara: "You heard me. But, you won't hear me say it again."
Though he's initially irritated by her interference, he quickly became proud of her fearless display.

Antonia, like almost all of the Pack, is strikingly beautiful. But, being so easy on the eyes really did not set her apart in any special way. On her seventeenth birthday, she collapsed in a faint during breakfast. When she awoke, she told her parents that their Pack leader, Michael, was going to be a husband and father by Easter. Since that day, Antonia never made a mistake with her predictions, even by the tiniest bit.

In this book, she is 22 years old.

She answered her door to find Derik waiting for her. She thought he was delivering her a loaner car that morning, as her mechanic had promised her. She saw Derik's electric-blue rented convertible and assumed it was for her. She realized she was incorrect later, when Derik tried to kill her. Antonia told Derik the future of Sara Gunn, AKA Morgan Le Fey.

She told Derik to go to California and "take care of her". Derik assumed Antonia meant to kill Dr. Gunn, because she was fated to end the world.

Answer: Dr. Cummings

Though she found him to be a grumpy chauvinist, she also cared about him. He'd been watching over her since her mother died, and even before that. She assumed that because her doctorate was in nursing, that he viewed her as a "glorified maid with an extra diploma". Truthfully, he had arrived in her life moments after her birth, and the death of her biological father.

He become a friend to her mother, and watched over Sara after she died. It also turned out that he'd been one of Arthur's Chosen briefly, but they claimed he'd used them to complete his doctorate. Dr. John McIntyre was played by Pernell Roberts on TV's "Trapper John MD" from 1979-1986. Elliot Gould played this character in the 1970 movie "Mash", and Wayne Rogers played him for four seasons on the series "Mash".

Answer: Arthur's Chosen

This novel, like the novel "The Mists of Avalon", tells a different version of the sorceress Morgan Le Fey. Sara repeatedly pointed out to Derik that Morgan was portrayed to be evil, but was actually set up by Merlin to betray her own brother, King Arthur. Supposedly, this crazy sect formed not long after Arthur's death and knew of a prophecy that Morgan would be reborn.

They turned out to be less noble than all that, and were not really trying to kill Sara to avenge Arthur's death. They just needed some of her blood to do a spell. Sara first met up with Arthur's Chosen inside her hospital.

They were wearing long red robes (not too obvious) and carrying 9mm Berettas. They also went by a few other names, like Arthur's Sect, Arthur's Guild and Morgan's Bane. In the TNT movie "The Mists of Avalon", Julianna Margulies portrayed Morgaine Le Fey. Morgaine was tricked by her aunt into sleeping with her own brother, conceiving a son name Mordred.

In this recitation, it is Mordred who kills his father in battle.

Answer: True

Sara is lucky in general, but anytime she'd need money badly, it appeared. It even came to her once in tragedy. Her mother was killed in an auto accident, and the company at fault paid her off without even being asked. It was the exact amount of money she needed at the time.
When she and Derik began their trip to Boston to face off against Arthur's Losers (as Sara called them), she acquired a sack full of cash. They spotted a teenager coming out of a store, after robbing it at gunpoint. He had a sack full of cash, which he thrust into Sara's hands when he spotted her. Not too lucky, huh?

Answer: a demon

Arthur's Chosen used Sara's blood and chanted out some spell, which gave rise to a transparent, greenish bubble that enveloped all of them. This accidental demon was called a moGhurn. It was described to look like a "devil crossed with an elm tree". During her time with the moGhurn, Sara saw what would happen if it escaped the bubble. Like a psychic vision, Sara saw the entire sect and Derik killed.

Then, in a month's time this demon had devoured all of North America. So, for some reason, Sara was able to kick it and it died! Her bloody foot killed the darn thing! She tried to kill herself in sacrifice first, but Derik covered her chest before she could stab an empty needle into it. Sara also described the demon as "an overgrown nightmare from a Tim Burton movie".

Answer: Rachel Ray

Rachel Ray has been the Food Channel host for "30 Minute Meals". Derik's an amateur chef, and loves Rachel Ray. He is not above stalking her, and believes she is Pack, but has no proof. He met her at the end of the book. Derik won her recipe contest and appeared on her show "40 Dollars A Day". The episode was filmed in San Antonio during a rattlesnake festival. He made a dish called Rattlesnake en croute. Mary Janice Davidson captured Rachel's way of speaking perfectly. Here is a little piece of Rachel's dialogue from the book:
"Your dish is delicious! I mean, yum!" That is SO Rachel Ray!

Side note- Actor Seth Green played a werewolf named Oz in seasons 2-4 of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer".

Derik seemed to be in love with Sara almost immediately, but it took her awhile longer. She realized it during her battle with the moGhurn, when she saved his life. Saving Derik's life also saved the entire world. Of course, the psychic Antonia already knew all of this was fated. But, she couldn't tell Derik, lest she cause a change in their destiny.

Answer: Charmed

After the world had been saved, Derik and Sara went back to the Packs' house. It was there that Antonia revealed she already knew Derik's destiny with Sara. He became angry because she'd told him to go to California and kill Sara. Antonia corrected Derik and reminded him that what she'd told him was to go to California and "take care" of Sara.

He'd just assumed she'd meant kill her. When Sara asked Antonia if the moGhurn was generated on purpose, Antonia replied with this- "No, it was an accident. You screwed up the spell.

They were trying to bring Arthur back, remember? With your blood. But the spell screwed up- which anybody who watches "Charmed" will tell you, and then they were in over their heads."
