1. Xan de Waard
Xan de Waard, born in Renkum in 1995 is a Dutch field hockey player known for her versatility as a midfielder. 4. Sharon van Rouwendaal
Sharon van Rouwendaal, born in Baarn in 1993, is a Dutch open water and pool swimmer. She first came to international attention in the pool, specialising in backstroke and freestyle events. However, she found remarkable success in open water swimming, winning the gold medal in the 10km open water event at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. 5. Sifan Hassan
Sifan Hassan, born in Adama, Ethiopia in 1993, is a Dutch middle and long distance runner. She was granted Dutch citizenship in 2013 and quickly became a dominant force in athletics. At the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Hassan made history by winning gold in the 5,000m and 10,000m and bronze in the 1,500m, demonstrating her extraordinary versatility by becoming the first athlete in Olympic history to win medals in a middle distance and both long distance track events at a single Games. 7. Dimeo van der Horst
Dimeo van der Horst, born in Amsterdam in 1991, is a Dutch basketball player who is a prominent member of the Netherlands 3x3 national team and has contributed to their success in international tournaments. Van der Horst helped his team to bronze medals at the 2018 and 2022 FIBA 3x3 Europe Cup and a silver medal in the 2018 World Cup.
At the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Dimeo van der Horst represented the Netherlands in the men's 3x3 basketball tournament.
