1. Xan de Waard

Xan de Waard, born in Renkum in 1995 is a Dutch field hockey player known for her versatility as a midfielder. She debuted for the Netherlands national team in 2012 and quickly established herself as a key player. De Waard has been an integral part of the Dutch team's success, contributing to their gold medals at the 2014, 2018 and 2022 Women's Hockey World Cups, as well as multiple European Championship victories. She also won silver at the 2016 Rio Olympics and gold at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

At the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Xan de Waard captained the Netherlands in the women's field hockey tournament. The Dutch team progressed through the group stages and knockout rounds, eventually beating China on penalties in the final to win the gold medal.
2. Marit Bouwmeester

Marit Bouwmeester, born in Waarten in 1988, is a Dutch sailor who specialises in the Laser Radial class. She has been a dominant force in her discipline, winning gold at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, silver at the London 2012 Olympic Games and bronze at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. Bouwmeester is also a multiple World Champion with titles in 2011, 2014, 2017 and 2020, as well as numerous European Championship victories, establishing her as one of the greatest sailors in her class.

At the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Marit Bouwmeester competed in the ILCA 6 (Laser Radial) class. She performed consistently throughout the regatta and won the gold medal ahead of Anne-Marie Rindom from Denmark and Line Flem Høst from Norway. Her two gold, one silver and one bronze medals set a record of the most successful female sailor at the Summer Olympics.
3. Karolien Florijn

Karolien Florijn, born in Leiden in 1998, is a Dutch rower specialising in the single sculls. She comes from a family with a strong rowing background as her father Ronald Florijn won two Olympic gold medals in rowing and her German mother Antje Rehaag was the 1994 World Champion in the German women's eight. Florijn won several World and European Championship titles in both coxless four and single sculls. She won a silver medal in the single sculls at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

At the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Karolien Florijn competed in the women's single sculls. She won the gold medal in the final with a time of 7:17.28 minutes. Silver went to Emma Twigg of New Zealand and bronze to Viktorija Senkutė of Lithuania.
4. Sharon van Rouwendaal

Sharon van Rouwendaal, born in Baarn in 1993, is a Dutch open water and pool swimmer. She first came to international attention in the pool, specialising in backstroke and freestyle events. However, she found remarkable success in open water swimming, winning the gold medal in the 10km open water event at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Van Rouwendaal has also won numerous medals at world and European championships.

At the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Van Rouwendaal competed in the women's 10km open water swim in the Seine. She finished first in a time of 2:03:34.2, beating Moesha Johnson of Australia and Ginevra Taddeucci of Italy.
5. Sifan Hassan

Sifan Hassan, born in Adama, Ethiopia in 1993, is a Dutch middle and long distance runner. She was granted Dutch citizenship in 2013 and quickly became a dominant force in athletics. At the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Hassan made history by winning gold in the 5,000m and 10,000m and bronze in the 1,500m, demonstrating her extraordinary versatility by becoming the first athlete in Olympic history to win medals in a middle distance and both long distance track events at a single Games. She has also set several world records, including the mile and one hour, and won several world championship titles.

At the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Hassan competed in the 5,000m and 10,000m as well as the marathon. She won gold in the marathon ahead of Ethiopia's Tigst Assefa and Kenya's Hellen Obiri, and two bronze medals in the 5,000m and 10,000m.
6. Bregje & Noortje de Brouwer

Bregje de Brouwer and her twin sister Noortje, born in Goirle in 1999, are two Dutch artistic swimmers who specialise in duet and team events. Together they have represented the Netherlands in numerous international competitions. The duo finished seventh in the duet event at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. The twins have also competed at European and World Championships, achieving many top 10 finishes.

At the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Bregje and Noortje de Brouwer competed in the artistic swimming duet event, where they won the bronze medal behind the Chinese duo of Wang Liuyi and Wang Qianyi and Great Britain's Kate Shortman and Isabelle Thorpe.
7. Dimeo van der Horst

Dimeo van der Horst, born in Amsterdam in 1991, is a Dutch basketball player who is a prominent member of the Netherlands 3x3 national team and has contributed to their success in international tournaments. Van der Horst helped his team to bronze medals at the 2018 and 2022 FIBA 3x3 Europe Cup and a silver medal in the 2018 World Cup.

At the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Dimeo van der Horst represented the Netherlands in the men's 3x3 basketball tournament. After a commanding 20-9 victory over Lithuania in the semi-finals, the Dutch went on to play host nation France in the gold medal match. Van der Horst and teammates Jan Driessen, Arvin Slagter and Worthy de Jong won the final 18-17 in extra time.
8. Maikel van der Vleuten

Maikel van der Vleuten, born in Geltrop in 1988, is a Dutch showjumper. He has represented the Netherlands in numerous international competitions, including the Olympic Games, World Championships and European Championships. Van der Vleuten won a silver medal in the team competition at the London 2012 Olympic Games and a bronze medal in the individual competition at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. He is known for his partnership with horses such as Beauville Z and Verdi TN, who consistently deliver strong performances in Nations Cups and Grand Prix events.

Maikel van der Vleuten competed in show jumping at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. He took part in both the individual and team competitions with Beauville Z. In the individual final, van der Vleuten finished without a penalty and qualified for the jump-off, where he won the bronze medal behind Germany's Christian Kukuk and Switzerland's Steve Guerdat.
9. Sabrina van der Sloot

Sabrina van der Sloot, born in Gouda in 1991, is a Dutch water polo player. She is a key member of the Dutch national team, known for her strong leadership and scoring ability. Van der Sloot helped the Netherlands win the gold medal at the 2018 European Championships and the gold medal at the 2023 World Championships. She also played in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, where the Netherlands team reached the quarter-finals.

Sabrina van der Sloot captained the Netherlands women's water polo team at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The team suffered a narrow 18-19 defeat to Spain in the semi-finals. In the bronze medal match they beat the USA 11-10, with Sabrina van der Sloot scoring 6 goals.
10. Harrie Lavreysen

Harrie Lavreysen, born in Luyksgestel in 1997, is a Dutch track cyclist who specialises in sprint events. He has been a dominant force in track cycling, winning multiple World Championships in the individual sprint, team sprint and keirin disciplines. Lavreysen won two gold medals at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, in the individual sprint and the team sprint. He also has a string of victories at the UCI Track Cycling World Championships, establishing himself as one of the top sprinters in the sport.

At the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Harrie Lavreysen continued his strong track cycling performances. He competed in the individual sprint, team sprint and keirin, winning gold in all three events.
