Ivanova walks into the clinic while Franklin's back is turned. Unaware that Ivanova has just walked into the room instead of the next patient, he says: "You can start by removing your clothes." Ivanova replies: "Not without dinner and flowers." They then break into a discussion on the illegal nature of the clinic. Franklin defends himself by saying that these people can't afford medical treatment, and this is the only way they'll get. Ivanova says that she won't shut down the clinic, although she wants to be kept informed next time.

During the game, Lennier continually broadcasts the odds of the combination of cards he is receiving. Londo tries to get Lennier to keep silent, saying that he would win more money if he kept his mouth shut.

When Talia is doing the preliminary scan before the mind wipe, she discovers that Garibaldi was right...Mueller had killed many other people. Mueller explains that the voices of all of his victims are a choir that he is building. He wants to gather enough voices to sing himself to heaven.

Dr. Rosen is suffering from Lakes's Syndrome, and has only about 3 years to live. Stafford's Disease was mentioned earlier in the episode as a disease that the device can cure. Netter's Syndrome is the disease that Lennier made up in the episode "Convictions." Drafa Plague is what killed all the Markabs in the episode "Confessions and Lamentations."

It was one of these tentesticles that Londo used to cheat, starting the fight in the Dark Star. Morgoth is the god of the underworld and protector of front doors, Ilaros is the goddess of luck and Venzen is the god of food.

After Dr. Rosen was found not guilty of murder (since she killed Karl Muller in self-defense), she said the quote in response to Janice's comment: "You heard Mr. Garibaldi. You did the right thing." As a doctor, Laura Rosen believes that the loss of any life is wrong, even if it was self-defense.

This is the beginning of a great set of quotes between Sinclair and Londo --- Sinclair: "I'm still waiting for an explanation, gentlemen."
