When the episode begins, Jack whistles to a mam and motions for him to come over by him. Grace tells him, "You know, a baboon has a more subtle mating ritual than you do." Jack says, "Yeah, well, baboons can afford to be subtle." Finally a man comes over to Jack and says, "Excuse me. Can you stop hitting on me? I'm sitting with my boyfriend." Jack tells him, "Oh, I am so sorry. Didn't mean to give you the wrong impression. I wasn't hitting on you. I was hitting on your boyfriend." The man tells him, "You're unbelievable." Jack then says, "I know. Tell him that."

Karen asks a woman at the next table, "Excuse me, you wouldn't happen to have a breath mint, would you?" The woman says, "Actually, I do. It's in my purse." Karen tells her, "Well, pop it! It's not doing you any good in there!" The woman says, "How offensive!" Karen says, "Honey, it's your breath, not mine." Grace then tells the woman, "Forgive her. She has a heart condition. She doesn't have one."

Will's father, George, asks Grace what's going on in her love life and she says, "Well, we've only gone on two dates, but I've been seeing..." Jack says, "Frankenstein." Grace says, "Ian. His name is Ian." Jack says, "That's his last name. His first name is Frankensty. Put 'em together, you got Frankensty-ian." Grace then says, "He does not look like Frankenstein. Right, Will?" Will says, "Well, he's very large, he has a square-shaped head, and every time I've seen him, he's being chased by torch-wielding villagers." Grace tells him, "God'll get you for that, Walter."

Grace and Ian are at "Seussical The Musical". When Ian asks Grace if she wants anything from the bar, she says, "Whatever they got. But nothing to drink. The line for the ladies room goes from here to Whoville." Ian then says, "Whoville. Oh, yeah, like in the play." She then sees Will's father and he asks her what she is doing there and she says, "I love Dr. Seuss. Though my mom used to read that one story to me as "one fish, two fish, goy fish, Jew fish."

George is speaking with Grace, "This is kind of a last-minute kind of thing, you know? I mean, the concierge at the hotel had tickets..." A woman then hands him a drink and says, "Here you go, sweetheart." George says, "Thanks." he continues, "To see a show, you now? I mean, that's the great thing about New York. You know, last year I saw "Death of..." Grace asks, "George, who is this with you?" George says, "Tina." He continues, "A Salesman", with Brian Dennehy. And you know, you wouldn't think a guy that powerful could play Willy Loman and make it work, but..." Grace then says, "Hi, Tina, I'm Grace." Once George and Tina go back to their seats, Ian returns and Grace says, "I cannot believe what I just saw. Married men having affairs. Is there anything worse?" Ian says, "Oh, I should go."

Grace asks Karen, "If you see a person doing something wrong, something that could hurt another person, do you tell the person what the person was doing or do you protect the person by not telling the person what the person was doing?" Karen says, "Did you get knocked up again?" Grace says, "What? No! Okay, look, I was out last night, and I saw someone who is very close to a friend of mine, having an affair. I mean, I didn't actually see them going at it., because you know, that would be creepy, but, I saw him on a date with a woman who was obviously his mistress. So, do I tell my friend about it? I mean, do you think they need to know?" Karen says, "No, no. Absolutely not." Grace says, "Okay. Thank you. That's all I needed to hear." She leaves and Karen says out loud, "Stanley Walker, you cheating piece of old man flap. Oh, yeah, you're a dead man."

To show Grace he isn't bothered by his father's frienship with Tina, he invites them to dinner. Will says to his father, "And what do you think of the chicken drumettes, Pop? You know, I used a little marmalade in the glaze. I call the recipe "Chicken Lady Marmalade." Grorge then says, "You know, there's something we haven't talked about all night. I'm really kind of surprised nobody's ever brought it up." Grace says, "Oh, finally." George says, "Is this not the coldest winter we have ever had?" Will says, "Yes, I was thinking the same thing."

After dinner is through, Tina says, "I just can't get used to the cold. I mean, I'm an Arizona girl." Will offers, "Tempe?" Tina says, "About 110 in the summer." George then says, "Me, I don't mind the cold. I never have. Too cold is not good. I like it just, you know, cold enough. You know, you get a sweater, you get a hot drink."

After George and Tina go out ont he balcony, Grace says, "What was that?" Will says, "I know. I know. Next time I'm gonna label the whipped peas. Everybody always thinks it's guacamole, and then it's just a letdown." Grace then says, "No! That dinner was unbelievable! I mean the level of denial...I mean, you people should be studied!"

Tina goes out in the hallway to talk to Grace. Grace is telling her, "I don't know why I took this all so personally.
