Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Homer, asking a favor of Marge, asks her to get which of these out of his bowling ball?

Answer: A bottle cap

Homer chases Bart through the Simpson household, inadvertently knocking a lamp over in the living room. Marge, initially angered by the destruction, concedes to the fact that she's the one who's going to need to clean it up. Later, she has to feed and change Maggie, make the family unique sandwiches for their lunches, hear the kids...and Homer...try to get her attention (while speaking over each other's requests), return videos, take the cat to the vet, get groceries, and have a bottle cap removed from Homer's bowling ball.

The kids also end up missing the bus. Of course, she has to pick up the slack. By the time the kids are dropped off at school, Marge is at her wit's end.
2. Where does Marge end up parking her car?

Answer: In the middle of a bridge

Marge flits around the grocery store before heading to two different 'Nick's Bowling Shops' around Springfield. When she gets back in the car, the radio plays nothing but jackhammers and prank phone calls. Maggie tears open the top of her milk bottle and Marge essentially short circuits, screaming and spinning her car out on the Springfield Memorial Bridge, blocking traffic both ways before turning off the vehicle. Oddly, no one can get her out of her car-- not even the police-- who don't seem to have any ideas except flashing their lights.
3. Who coaxes Marge out of her car so that the police can take her into custody?

Answer: Homer

Later in the morning, even the news is on top of the blockage on the Springfield Memorial Bridge and homer, at work, comes to realize that Marge is the one in the car. He has no real choice but to make an appearance, taking the megaphone from Chief Wiggum and trying to talk her out of her situation.

He insists that coming out of the car will be the start they need to make things better and, fortunately, this works...at least long enough to put her in handcuffs. Fortunately, Mayor Quimby, seeking approval from women voters, decides to get her out of jail and designate that specific day Marge Simpson Day.
4. What is Rancho Relaxo, according to its advertisement?

Answer: A two-star health spa

While Homer assumes that all's well when Marge gets her own day and becomes the focal point of the town for the time, Marge doesn't really feel like anything has changed for her. It isn't until she watches an ad on TV that she realizes what she needs; the ad is for a two-star health spa founded by Spanish explorers in the Springfield Mountains known as Rancho Relaxo.

She wakes up Homer to inform him that she needs a vacation. Alone.
5. Bart, Lisa, and Maggie are all forced to stay with Patty and Selma while Marge is out of town.

Answer: False

Marge makes the arrangements for her vacation, ultimately leaving the kids in the care of her sisters, Patty and Selma, and sending them off to their apartment instead of keeping them at home. None of the kids really want this, but Maggie's the only one to make a motion to stay (mainly by clinging to the front door frame). Marge figures it'll be best to keep her home with Homer despite Patty and Selma's protests that he'll probably trade her for a beer and a nudie magazine.
6. Which of these drink options do Patty and Selma not offer the kids during their visit (to go with their tongue sandwiches)?

Answer: Tonic water

Marge heads out on the train while Homer asks her every possible question he can before she embarks. After a short time Marge is already in the lap of luxury, checking in in Rancho Relaxo's hacienda-style main lobby. It's not long before she calls for a massage.
Back at the Simpson household, Homer isn't doing too much. When Maggie makes noise in her crib for attention, Homer reassures her that everything will be fine while Marge fixes herself at the spa. Until then it's just the two of them.
At Patty and Selma's, Bart and Lisa try to minimize their suffering; Lisa tries to go to bed at 12:30 in the afternoon and the kids are told that they'll be sharing beds with their aunts.
7. Who does Homer invite over to the house while everyone else is out?

Answer: Barney

While Marge is off getting pampered, Homer seems to have a little trouble taking care of Maggie. It begins with realizing her baby food is actually quite delicious; when she won't eat, he ends up finishing several little jars. At one point he staples her diapers shut and, while giving a puppet show, he's attacked by the dog. He ends up calling Barney over for company just to get through the day.
At Patty and Selma's, the kids get ready for bed and Bart makes the mistake of rooting through the closets. When the lights finally go out, it turns out that Patty snores horribly.
Out in the mountains, Marge spreads out in a large bed all to herself.
8. When does Maggie escape her crib?

Answer: At bedtime

At the Simpson household, Homer tucks Maggie in for bed despite the fact that she's clearly not tired in the slightest. While he heads to bed, Maggie heads out of her crib, down the stairs, and through the doggy door on a search for Marge, inevitably making her way down the sidewalk on her own. Homer doesn't realize until he comes in for her 9 o'clock feeding (at 11:45) to find the crib empty.

While Homer tears the house upside-down looking for his youngest child, Maggie's actually out at the mall, retracing the steps Marge would take on a busy day.
9. Which activity does Marge not pursue at Rancho Relaxo?

Answer: Windsurfing

Homer, finally realizing that he can't find Maggie anywhere, calls the 'Department for Missing Babies' with the Springfield Police. He ends up visiting the kids at Patty and Selma's to see if they know where she is, but he ends up leaving them there (to their disdain). Marge, meanwhile, none-the-wiser, spends a great day pursuing everything Rancho Relaxo has to offer before heading off the beaten path and just sinking into the tub with a hot fudge sundae and tequila.

She ends up calling home while Homer's tearing apart the kitchen to inform him that she's coming home in an hour, and he should bring the kids to meet her at the train station.
10. Who ends up finding the missing Maggie?

Answer: The police

Homer's already thinking of excuses to give Marge reasoning for Maggie's disappearance, but luckily she's been found by the Springfield Police atop an ice cream parlour, snuggling up against a giant swirly cone which has a hairstyle similar to Marge's.

He ends up taping Maggie into her car seat before heading off to pick up Bart and Lisa and reaching the station just in time. The entire family is haggard when she makes it back, but they liven up as soon as she steps off the train, begging her never to leave again.
