The vet is explaining that he is still not entirely sure what is wrong, but is waiting for blood sample results. When he enquires about where to send the bill, the exchange in the question takes place, with Del referring of course to the results.

When Del phones Albert to tell him to save the pork for testing, Albert says he has eaten some too, so Del tells him to go to the hospital. Del says Albert will need an operation and Rodney bets Del £5 that he won't. Del then tells Albert he'll laugh when Del tells him why, to which Rodney bets £1 he won't. Rodney wins both bets.

Boycie phones the flat to check on Duke. Rodney answers and Del pretends he's not in. When Marlene comes onto the phone, she asks to speak to Duke. Rodney panics and hands the phone to Del, who makes some panting noises.

Del and Rodney visit Albert in hospital. This scene features another obvious joke when the doctor hands Del a bottle of pills and says "the nurse gave me these." Del replies with, "why, what's wrong with you?"

It turns out that Duke has been taking Albert's sleeping pills, while Albert has been taking Duke's vitamins. Both sets of pills are in identical bottles.
