Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What mythical creature did Cartman have all the boys organize to help him track and catch in the woods?

Answer: a leprechaun

He'd apparently seen a leprechaun in that same area three days in a row and was determined to prove the creature's existence to the other boys. He had everyone in different areas doing surveillance and setting up traps, and kept control of the situation with radio communication.

Much to everyone's surprise, the leprechaun actually did show up, but then chastised Cartman for slowing him in delivering a dire warning concerning a terrorist attack!
2. Kyle had made a bet with Cartman concerning the mythical creature. If Cartman was lying, he'd have to pay Kyle $10. If the creature was real, though, Kyle's penance would fall into what category?

Answer: oral sex

Kyle had agreed to put Cartman's testicles in his mouth if the leprechaun was proven to exist. Of course, Kyle never thought it would be and had no intention of actually "paying" Cartman.
3. When the Mayor of Imaginationland offered the boys a ride on his "Imagination Flying Machine," Butters had some reservations. What did he ask the Mayor?

Answer: "Are you gonna rape us?"

The Mayor seemed confused and said no, so the boys started following him onto the flying ship. As Butters trailed behind, he warned the others, "Watch it, fellas. I'm pretty sure this guy wants to rape us."
4. As they flew to Imaginationland, the Mayor sang "The Imagination Song". How many different words were in the song?

Answer: 1

As the ship took off, the Mayor told the boys, "Some people feel imagination isn't real, but I tell them that they're wrong, 'cause whenever I want to play and pretend, I just sing 'The Imagination Song'." He then started singing the song, which consisted of the single word, "imagination," sung at seemingly random tones and rhythms.

While he sang the song, the Mayor flew the kids over various picturesque landscapes. Finally, though, Kyle reached his limit and had to interrupt, asking the Mayor, "Are you gonna take us somewhere or not?" The Mayor responded, "Ohhh, but my boy, we're already here." Just as the Mayor said it, the ship sailed over Imaginationland.
5. Were the boys able to warn the denizens of Imaginationland about the terrorist attack in time?

Answer: no

They were conveying the leprechaun's message, but before they could blurt it out, a terrorist ran into the group, pulled open his jacket to show numerous bombs strapped to his torso and detonated the bombs. In the ensuing chaos, Stan found shelter under a giant mushroom, but the creatures of Imaginationland weren't all so lucky: Charlie Brown lost a leg, Raggedy Ann struggled to revive a wrecked Raggedy Andy, Santa Claus burned alive, Ronald McDonald located his blown-off right arm, and Rapunzel's tower crashed to the ground!
6. What kind of accent did the dragon who flew the boys to safety have?

Answer: Scottish

Draco was a character thought up for the movie "Dragonheart" and was voiced in the film by Sean Connery, so of course Draco would have a Scottish accent. He boarded the boys on his back and flew them out of Imaginationland, but as they were leaving the boys realized that Butters was still on the ground.

As they watched, Butters was overcome by terrorists, who pushed him to the ground before repeatedly kicking his helpless body!
7. Who was killed in the terrorists' video?

Answer: a Care Bear

The Pentagon had intercepted a videotape the terrorists made for broadcast. In it, the terrorists ranted in Arabic and shot a Care Bear in the head. Later, while Butters was forced at gunpoint to read a message, one of the terrorists brought the Care Bear's severed head into frame, furthering Butters' distress!
8. The Pentagon brought in some Hollywood filmmakers to help them come up with ideas for stopping the terrorists. Who ended up giving the General a good idea?

Answer: Mel Gibson

The General had to reject a few suggestions first, though:
General: "What I am about to tell you is highly classified. Two days ago, Muslim terrorists hijacked our imagination. Frankly we don't know what their next move is or how to stop them."
Specialist: "In times like these the government often turns to Hollywood for help. You creative filmmakers can think of ideas we just can't."
General: "That's why we've asked you here, M. Night Shamal-amalam. 'The Sixth Sense', 'Signs', 'The Village', all very clever films. But can you use your amazing idea brain now to help us stop the terrorists?"
M. Night Shyamalan: "What if... What if it turns out they aren't terrorists? But they're actually werewolves? From the future?"
General: "No. No, they're terrorists. They've been linked to Al Qaeda."
M. Night Shyamalan: "But what if Al Qaeda, it turns out, is the group being terrorized? By aliens?"
General: "No- No. That's not an idea, that's a twist. We need ideas."
M. Night Shyamalan: "How about we make everyone think that terrorists attacked us? But really, we were all already dead."
General: [to the specialist] "Get him out of here. [M. Night Shyamalan is taken out and replaced by...] Mr. Bay, can you think of any idea how to outwit these terrorists?"
Michael Bay: "I believe I can. We start... by making a big CG building and then we have a meteor go CROSSHH! And it, and it's all like CRAAWWWLL a-and motorcycles burst into flame while they jump over these helicopters, right?"
General: "No, no! We need ideas how to stop the terrorists!"
Michael Bay: "An eighteen-wheeler spins out of control and it's all like BROSSHH. And then this huuuge tanker full of dyna- it's like GRAWW GROSHHH PSSHH!"
General: "Those aren't ideas, those are special effects!"
Michael Bay: "I... don't understand the difference."
General: "I know you don't. Get him out of here! [Mel Gibson is brought in] And being that we are all big Mel Gibson film fans, we thought maybe you could help us."
Mel Gibson: [twisting his nipples hard] "Ah, my nipples, they hurt! They hurt when I twist them!"
General: [putting his head in his hand] "Yes, uh, I don't suppose you have any creative ideas how to fight these terrorists?"
Mel Gibson: "How about this? You have that videotape that the terrorists made, right? Well maybe if you did a background check on that videotape, you might find somebody who doesn't belong. Somebody who doesn't fit in Imaginationland. [twists his nipples again] Ohhh!"
Specialist: "Hey... that's not a bad idea."
General: "Yeah. Say what you want about Mel Gibson, but the [guy] knows story structure. Get the videotape and do a background check on everyone in it!"
Mel Gibson: [twists his nipples from the excitement] "Oogh! Yess!" [grins]
9. Kyle was ordered by the court to make good on his bet with Cartman. When he arrived to do so, who or what was Cartman dressed as?

Answer: a sultan

Cartman had also invited a bunch of other kids over. He'd decorated the house in Arabic style and when Kyle showed up, Cartman ordered him to "pay homage." Kyle seemed resigned that he'd have to actually do so, but before he could even make it inside the house, the government descended on the house and whisked Kyle and Stan away, hoping they could shed some light on Butters' presence in Imaginationland.
10. Was Butters able to stop the terrorists from using Rockety Rocket to blow up the Barrier?

Answer: no

The Mayor and other denizens of Imaginationland told Butters to stop them or else "all the most evil things ever imagined are gonna pour out and take over Imaginationland for good!" Butters did his best, running in front of the terrorists and saying, "Hold on! Hold on a second! Now, you really should think about this. I mean, uh, I know you think attacking our imagination will get you somewhere, but will it really? If you destroy that wall, all the most evil parts of our imagination are gonna break loose, but... will it really make you terrorists feel better? Maybe it's time for us all to just... get along." The speech was ineffectual, and the terrorists knocked Butters out of the way and ran Rockety Rocket into the wall.

The Mayor was displeased, asking Butters, "That was your plan to stop them?" Butters responded, "Y-yeah.

A nice little heartfelt speech?" The Mayor decreed, "That's [...] stupid!" Then the wall began to crumble and the door dividing the good and evil sides of Imaginationland fell apart!
