Travis had thought quickly and led his wife to safety by climbing the "trees." However, clinging perilously to the ends of the hair strands, the tiny lice were no match for the power of a hair dryer. Travis tried to hold on to his wife, but her arm eventually broke off in his hand and she went flying into oblivion!

Travis had already threatened to see to the Vice President's imprisonment if they made it out alive, but the Vice President didn't seem overly plagued by a guilty conscience. When Travis took over operations, the Vice President asked, "Who put you in charge?" Travis shot back, "God did! When he killed my wife!"

Cartman gathered all the boys together and told them about the test he'd thought of: "Lice feed on a person's blood, and just like mosquitoes they leave small traces of their saliva in the host's bloodstream. That saliva is monochromagnic. So if an infected person's blood is touched by... this hot metal coil, say... that person's blood will jump 10 meters into the air." Kyle called him on it immediately, pointing out that Cartman had simply stolen the test from the movie "The Thing". Cartman refused to back down, though, and bullied Kyle into participating, demanding "30 cc's of blood" from each of the boys.

Cartman first tested his own blood, then Kyle's, both with no effect. Everyone was shocked when the next test made blood leap out of the dish and splatter all over Cartman's chin! Cartman turned the dish around to reveal Kenny's name on the side, and Kenny ran out of the room as Cartman taunted, "I told you only poor people get lice!"

After Travis, the Vice President, and the female louse made it to the forbidden zone, the Vice President shot the female louse. Then he shot Travis in the knees and told him about his plan to repopulate by mating with all the female survivors. To prove that the world wasn't alive, the Vice President shot six bullets into the ground. Of course, Clyde felt the minor irritation and reached around to the back of his neck, picking the Vice President off his skin and dropping him onto the sidewalk!

All the kids gathered at the playground with bars of soap stuck inside socks. It seemed they were going to use them to beat Kenny up, but after declaring Kenny's guilt, Cartman led the boys in the punishment: "Sock bath! Everyone wash Kenny with the soap and dry him off with the socks!" Kenny protested like he really was being beat up, and Kyle eventually spoke up, saying that he was the one who'd had head lice.

Then Stan and Cartman confessed that they'd had lice. When Mrs. Garrison arrived, she told the boys that everyone in the class, male and female, had gotten lice because "lice spreads fast." Instead of sparing Kenny his punishment, though, the group went ahead on the grounds that he'd still lied!

Just as Travis thought he was dying in the forbidden zone, a fly landed and he grabbed onto its leg. As it flew through the air, he drifted in and out of sleep. The fly eventually landed and Travis fell onto the new ground where he was picked up by two healthy-looking lice who carried him to their well-developed civilization.

They welcomed him and assured him, "You're safe now. We've lived here generation after generation, never being disturbed." Then the camera pulled back and revealed that Travis had found safety for himself and his baby in Angelina Jolie's pubic hair!
