Answer: Devon

Claire was in Devon investigating a town where everyone vanished on November 21, 1967. (The episode aired on November 21.)

Devon is in the southwest part of England. Devon is well known for its beaches. Its biggest town is Exeter.

The name of the fictional town was Medderton. It had a church with a cemetery that was full of angel statues.
2. What was the name of the little girl who was missing?

Answer: Peggy

Peggy was a ten-year-old and one of the first victims of the Weeping Angels. She was sent to 1901.

Her aunt Jeanne and uncle Gerald were looking for her, and met a fairly nasty fate at the hands of the Angels.

It turns that Peggy has to get back to 1967 the long way round -- Mrs Haywood turns out to be Peggy. At least when she meets a guy named Haywood, she knows not to reject him.

Penny was played by Poppy Polivnick. She worked with Billie Piper in the 2018 film "Beast".
3. What was Professor Jericho's first name?

Answer: Eustacius

Eustacius Jericho was a professor of parapsychology. He was studying Claire Brown, who had psychic abilities. Jericho's house was overrun by Angels and he was sent to 1901.

Jericho wound up traveling with Yaz and Dan around the world, but more on that later.

Kevin McNally played Jericho. He started off his career with a bang in "I, Claudius" (1976). He is best known as Gibbs in the "Pirates of the Caribbean" series. McNally has made dozens of film and TV appearances over a 50-year career
4. What planet did Bel land on seeking canals?

Answer: Puzano

Bel and Vinder had planned to honeymoon on Puzano and visit the canals. Unfortunately, the Flux destroyed them.

Bel met Namaca, and managed to save him from being snatched by Passenger.

Namaca was played by Blake Harrison. He is probably best known as Neil Sutherland from "The Inbetweeners" (2008-10).

The Pyrovilians tried to harness the power of Mount Vesuvius.
5. According to Jericho, what did the Doctor's psychic paper say?

Answer: Institute for Psychic Investigations

Professor Jericho thought the Doctor was from the Institute for Psychic Investigations. She decided not to argue.

Every Doctor from Nine to Fifteen has used the psychic paper. Its results vary, especially when the Doctor is vague about his intentions. It is one of the better recurring gags in "Doctor Who"."

"Health and Safety" has been a recurring gag thought the history of "Doctor Who."
6. What year were Dan and Yaz sent to?

Answer: 1901

They are sent to Medderton 1901, where they meet Peggy. There are fewer Angels, and they are less likely to try and feed since Yaz and Dan were already sent back.

The Angels had quantum extracted the village, so it was floating in space.

They appeared to be standing on a beach. The Angel inside Claire revealed they had fled Division, and had information which made them a wanted fugitive.

The Fugitive Angel appeared to be willing to work with the Doctor but turned on her. The chilling last shot of "Village of the Angels" has the Doctor being turned into an Angel so she can be turned over to Division.

Azure scooped of the last remaining humans with false promises of a safe haven. The episode was actually Ravagers light with only the brief appearance by Azure.
9. The mid-credits sequence in "Village of the Angels" (2021) involved what characters?

Answer: Bel and Vinder

The segment has Vinder arriving on Puzano and meeting Namaca, who tells of meeting Bel and says she left a message. Vinder listens to the message, which is hopeful.

Vinder, played by Jacob Anderson, was a regular during Series 13. He was a highly skilled pilot who was demoted after angering a powerful politician.
10. Who wrote "Village of the Angels" (2021) with Chris Chibnall?

Answer: Maxine Alderton

Maxine Alderton first wrote for "Doctor Who" with "The Haunting of Villa Diodati" (2020) which featured Mary Shelley and Cybermen. When Alderon isn't writing science fiction, she has done lots of work on the soap opera "Emmerdale" since 2013.

Penelope McGhie was Mrs Haywood. She started acting around 2000 and was a Death Eater in "Deathly Hallows" (2011). She was only 61 when "Village of Angels" was filmed but playing a 76-year-old Peggy.

Barbara Fadden was one of the three actresses playing Weeping Angels. She was a Weeping Angel in three "Flux" episodes and played a Silurian several times.

Nikki Wilson was a BBC producer for "Doctor Who" during the Capaldi and Whitaker eras, from 2014 to 2022.
