Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The first clue of this race was a Road Block.

Answer: True

Unlike in most other seasons of "The Amazing Race", teams were given their first clues (on their backpacks) and ripped them open to find an immediate Road Block waiting for them, forcing them to make an early choice for a solo task. For this challenge, both racers needed to head to the edge of the Horseshoe Falls and find the Table Rock Centre, where the selected racer had to rappel one hundred eighty feet along the cliffside to collect a clue dangling next to the raging waters of Niagara Falls.
2. Which team collected the Assist during the hobby horse Road Block in Leg 2?

Answer: Colin and Matt

Racers flew to B.C.'s Sunshine Coast in Leg 2 and towards the end of the leg, racers had to visit Mise-En-Place Equestrian in Roberts Creek for their Road Block. This task involved learning a hobby horse routine, performing all the proper steps along an equestrian horse in order to get their next clue, but one team, Colin and Matt, opened their clue to find the Desjardins Assist waiting.

It meant that Matt, who was elected to finish the challenge, was able to complete a simpler course to get the next clue.
3. In the Okanagan Valley, the racers had to complete two Road Block tasks. The first of these involved driving their provided vehicle, but which of these brands sponsored the task?

Answer: Chevrolet

Starting what became Leg 4 in Penticton, B.C., racers were given all-new Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 Bisons to navigate their way through the Okanagan Valley in Leg 4, but what they didn't know was that they would start the day with a Road Block making use of that very vehicle, showcasing its capabilities at the Area 27 Motorsports Park. Racers there needed to conquer three off-road obstacles in their trucks (doing so in any order) to collect their next clue.
4. In addition to learning animal names in Nk'Mip for the second Road Block in the Okanagan Valley (in Leg 4), racers had to do which of the following?

Answer: Fire a bow and arrow

For one final task at the end of Leg 4, racers had to drive to the town of Osoyoos to locate the Nk'Mip Desert Cultural Centre to complete a second Road Block, implying that the racer who did not complete the off-road one earlier in the leg had to participate in this task. For this challenge, racers had to learn the names of six animals in the Nk'Mip language.

Then, they had to use a bow and arrow to hit four targets of those animals, as indicated, to collect their next clue and race to the Pit Stop.
5. The first Road Block teams encountered in Leg 5 was in Regina, Saskatchewan. The second was in which neighbouring province?

Answer: Manitoba

In Leg 5, teams left B.C. and headed not only to Saskatchewan, but Manitoba as they crossed the halfway point of the competition. In Regina, one team member had to complete a Road Block at Mosaic Stadium, the home of the Saskatchewan Roughriders, joining the team to execute one of twelve memorized football plays to score a touchdown.

When teams reached Russell, Manitoba later in the leg they encountered a second Road Block to contend with, and the previously unselected racer needed to learn a Ukrainian dance to get their final clue and head to the Pit Stop.
6. The Road Block teams encountered in Elora, Ontario (in Leg 6) was sponsored by which of these products?

Answer: A protein drink

Heading to Southwestern Ontario in Leg 6, racers headed to the picturesque Elora Quarry for the first of two Road Blocks they would encounter, and for this task they had to hop into a canoe to collect Boost protein drink products from the water before climbing up the side of the gorge. At the top, racers could unscramble a word puzzle to spell 'NUTRITION' and continue racing.

For the second Road Block in this leg, the other racer had to learn wrestling moves in a church wrestling ring in Guelph, completing the performance to send them to the Pit Stop.
7. Racers completing the Road Block in Trois-Rivières in Leg 7 needed to work with which animals?

Answer: Horses

Heading out to the ranches outside Trois-Rivières, racers had to locate École d'Art Équestre Beauvallon and learn how to ride the horses. It didn't end there though-- teams had to learn five different acrobatic tricks, maneuvering on top of the horse to perform unique and daring show moves on the live animal. Lauren, Kevin, Matt, Michael, Michael, and Katie completed the task before heading to the Pit Stop.
8. In Leg 9, all selected Road Block participants (completing the zipline in Miramichi) were mandatorily required to complete the challenge per their clues.

Answer: True

When racers opened their Road Block clue in New Brunswick in Leg 9, they were told that Gurleen, Colin, Michael, Nicole, and Taylor were mandatorily required to participate in the challenge. This was done in order to ensure an even Road Block distribution between both team members going into the tenth (and final) leg of the race.

For this one, however, participants had to take a zipline across French Fort Cove while dropping balls, from above, into marked targets on the water. Once they accumulated five points from these drops, they could continue racing.
9. The first Road Block of Leg 10 had teams completing a puzzle themed around what 2024 film?

Answer: Transformers One

Racers had to locate High Level Bridge near the start of Leg 10 and, once they found their way underneath, they could commence their first Road Block of their final leg. For this task, the selected team member needed to harness up and climb the trestles beneath the bridge, collecting caches of puzzle pieces along the way. Once they collected two bags they could jump off a narrow plank to collect their next clue. Racers would have to solve their "Transformers One"-themed puzzle later on in the leg.
10. The race's final Road Block was held at what unique Edmonton building?

Answer: Butterdome

Halfway through the final leg, Katie, Tyson, Colin, and Nicole were presented with the final Road Block of the race (and the second of Leg 10). For this challenge, racers took taxis to the Butterdome on the University of Alberta campus, and there they had to learn an aerial silk routine from professional aerial circus performers, completing it from start to finish without error. If they could use their strength(s) and muscles to execute the techniques, they could keep racing.
