Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What did Cartman find in the old woman's backyard?

Answer: drum circle

First Cartman checked the attic, where he discovered a group of "giggling stoners." He told the old woman, "If you see one hippie, there's probably a whole lot more you're not seein'." Sure enough, Cartman found a drum circle of hippies in the backyard. The woman told him they'd showed up a few days ago, and Cartman realized South Park had a serious infestation on its hands!
2. What did Stan, Kyle, and Kenny try to sell the "college know-it-all hippies?"

Answer: magazine subscriptions

The college know-it-all hippies swiftly informed the boys that they were being used as pawns by the "corporations" who were just trying to get rich through other people's labor. The boys were shocked and asked what they could do, and the college know-it-all hippies told them to "hang" with them for a while and they'd "fill [the boys] in on everything [they hadn't] been told."
3. Cartman interrupted a City Council meeting to warn the adults about the hippies. What were they more interested in talking about?

Answer: potholes

He predicted, with an overwhelming air of gravity, that the hippies were gathering for a hippie music festival. The adults weren't interested, telling him they were talking about potholes. Cartman shot back, "It's not potholes you need to worry about.

It's potheads. I know what these people are capable of." At that point, the unmoved Mayor ordered one of the councilmembers to get Cartman out of the room.
4. When Cartman found the other boys hanging out with the hippies, what did he ask them if they'd eaten?

Answer: brownies

Cartman was horrified to see his friends amid the hippies, and asked, "What happened? Were you bit? Did you eat their brownies? Did you eat their brownies?!" Evidently, Cartman figured the hippies could use pot brownies to spread their "infection" the way zombies use blood!
5. Mayor McDaniels had signed the permit for the hippie music festival, hoping it would do what?

Answer: boost South Park's economy

Cartman was infuriated by what he perceived to be the Mayor's betrayal of her own town, asking "How much money is enough, Mayor? How many people's lives is it all worth?"
6. What drug did Randy reminisce about doing at Woodstock?

Answer: acid

Sharon and Randy were initially unconcerned that Stan had gone to the music festival, remembering that they had gone to Woodstock. However, after they shared a memory of Randy throwing up from too much acid, Sharon falling in the vomit, and then the two of them having messy sex in the vomit, the parents panicked about their son's situation and Randy ran out the door to try to rescue Stan!
7. Did the Mayor shoot herself?

Answer: yes

After seeing what she'd brought on her beloved town, she put a gun to her temple and pulled the trigger. Miraculously, she lived and seemed only to need a simple bandage around her head before she could continue leading her constituents!
8. What did Cartman demand in exchange for rescuing South Park from the hippies?

Answer: Tonka Radio-Controlled Play Bulldozer

The adults first tried to buy Cartman's assistance with a cake, but Cartman demanded the toy instead. He had one final stipulation: "Kyle doesn't get to have one! Ever! And he has to watch me drive mine around the school parking lot and get super-jealous!" The adults agreed to Cartman's terms and he laid out his plan for eradicating the hippies.
9. How did Cartman plan to get through the mass of hippies?

Answer: drill

In a reference to "Armageddon", Cartman explained that his team would drill into the center of the hippie crowd and upload a death metal CD into the sound system, forcing the hippies to disperse. Cartman declared that his team would have to be comprised of "a scientist, an engineer, and of course, a black person who can sacrifice himself in case something goes wrong." Randy volunteered as the scientist and Linda Stotch volunteered as the engineer. Chef, seeing where things were going, huffily agreed to be the requisite black person.
10. Did Cartman's plan for getting rid of the hippies work?

Answer: yes

Though the Mayor tried to go to Plan B and just nuke the whole festival, Cartman and his team were able to reach the stage and hook his laptop up to the speaker system, blaring Slayer songs out into the crowd. The hippies, complaining that the "angry" music was "killing [their] buzz," disappeared back to wherever they'd come from.
