Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. To whom did Mrs. Garrison give a brown egg?

Answer: Token

All the other kids got regular old white eggs, but Mrs. Garrison handed a brown egg to Token, with no particular explanation or excuse. Token looked shocked, but didn't object.
2. When Stan called Kyle to check up on Kyle and Wendy's activities, what did Stan say was stupid?

Answer: Kyle's hat

Stan was livid over the Kyle-Wendy pairing, but Kyle was oblivious. When Stan called, Kyle took his inquiry at face value, and told him how they were making "a cradle out of an egg carton" with which to protect their egg. When Kyle said he thought the "whole assignment" was stupid, Stan shot back, "Yeah, well, so is your hat," and hung up, leaving Kyle mystified on the other end of the line!
3. When Mrs. Garrison and her mob went to the Governor requesting a veto, he confessed that he had pursued his position because he wanted what?

Answer: a big house and lots of respect

The Governor had tears in his eyes from the stress of being lobbied by both the gay-rights activists and the anti-gay marriage group! He resisted taking a stand because he didn't have any scientific studies to back him up, which gave Mrs. Garrison the idea of using her egg assignment to scientifically prove that gay couples can't care for children.
4. Who had trouble giving up his or her egg after Mrs. Garrison reassigned the couples?

Answer: Wendy

When Mrs. Garrison paired Wendy and Bebe up, she gave the girls the egg that Bebe and Stan had decorated. As might sometimes happen in surrogacy cases, Wendy was upset, because she had "made" the egg that ended up with Stan and Kyle. She even showed up at Kyle's house, demanding to see the egg! Kyle told her, "You might have made it, but we're the ones who are taking care of it now. You have your own egg to look out for!" He tried to console her a bit, and asked her to "not make this any more confusing than it already is."
5. Did Cartman break his egg?

Answer: yes

When Cartman confessed to Mrs. Garrison, though, he was met with a surprising response:
Cartman: "I broke the egg."
Mrs. Garrison: "You broke your egg? But you're partnered with a girl."
Cartman: "I tried to cover it up, tried to put it back together with modeling glue, tried to seal it with a soldering gun, but I give up. I can't hide it, I broke the egg."
Mrs. Garrison: "Did you tell anyone else about this?
Cartman: "No."
Mrs. Garrison: "Did you tell your egg partner, Heidi?"
Cartman: "No. That's why I'm here. I think you should still give Heidi an A on the project. You see, I broke the egg, not her. And so, I should get an F, and she should get an A, which means that together the grade should average out to a C minus for both of us."
Mrs. Garrison: "I can't do that, Eric!"
Cartman: "[Darn] it! I knew you'd say that! You always have it out for me!"
Mrs. Garrison: "You have to get an A, Eric. Here: I'll sign this new egg for you. We'll pretend this never happened, alright? Just... put on the old hair, color in the same eyes... There we go, good as new. Go enjoy the rest of your recess."
Cartman: "Mr. Garrison..., you've never been this cool to me before."
Mrs. Garrison: "...Okay, well, you're welcome, Eric. Now, just run along."
Cartman: "...Why are you doing this?"
Mrs. Garrison: "Because I'm a nice teacher, all right?"
Cartman: "What do you want from me?"
Mrs. Garrison: "Nothing! It's all okay! Just take your [stupid] egg!"
Cartman: "...No."
Mrs. Garrison: "Eric, you've never been anything but a problem for me! You're taking that egg! And if you break it again, I'll break both your legs, and burn down your house! Do you hear me?"
Cartman: "Yes teacher."
Mrs. Garrison: "Get out of my face!"
6. What did Mrs. Garrison do to "intervene?"

Answer: hired an assassin

She hired an assassin to "kill" Stan and Kyle's egg, since if it made it through the week unscathed it would foil her plans to stop gay marriage. She told the assassin she would pay $2000 up front and another three when the job was done!
7. What happened to the egg Stan had looked after so diligently?

Answer: it was shot

Stan and Kyle were on the phone on the fifth morning, arguing over Wendy and who would bring the egg to class. Stan insisted that he was going to bring it himself, so he could prove to Wendy that he was just as good as Kyle, but just as the words left his mouth, a laser dot moved onto the egg and the shell exploded in Stan's hands.

After a momentary pause, Stan burst out screaming, egg yolk dripping down his face! Luckily, Kyle hadn't trusted his friend and had kept the real egg himself, while giving Stan a duplicate to look after.

The real egg was still perfectly safe!
8. Stan and Kyle were late to the Governor's speech, but how were they getting there?

Answer: by taxi

They called Mrs. Garrison from a cell phone in the taxi, telling Mrs. Garrison they were on their way and their egg was safe, and begged her not to fail them. Of course, Mrs. Garrison was furious and sent her hired assassin to get to them before they could ruin her "scientific" presentation.
9. Did Stan and Kyle keep their egg intact for the week?

Answer: yes

As they ran through the crowd to the stage at the Governor's speech, they even managed to keep the egg safe through bomb blasts! When they got to the stage, Stan proclaimed, "Teacher, our egg is... okay." He then passed out, holding the egg high in the air!
10. Did Mr. Slave and Big Gay Al get married?

Answer: yes

After Stan and Kyle delivered a good egg, the Governor declared, "Gays can get married!" The boys attended the ceremony, despite being confused by their own participation in making it possible.
