Kyle was concerned that they would draw suspicion, buying cart-fulls of toilet paper. To offset any suspicion, Cartman added some chewing gum to the cart! When the cashier asked what the kids were doing that night, Cartman told him they were "gonna watch some TV, maybe play a board game." The cashier didn't seem at all concerned by the excessive purchase, but did warn the boys not to stick any gum "under tables" or anything like that.

Cartman had an extensive cover story that included meeting "Ally Sheedy, the Goth chick from 'The Breakfast Club'," receiving personality tests from Scientologists, and getting a ride home from a nine-fingered man! Kyle was understandably confused, so Stan told him to let Cartman do all the talking in Mr. Mackey's office.

Mr. Dreible was adamant that he just wanted to clean up his yard, but Barbrady wouldn't let it go; he was dead set on analyzing all the evidence and finding the perpetrators. After some back and forth, Mr. Dreible concluded, "You really have nothing better to do, do you?" Barbrady proudly admitted, "No, I do not."

Along with images of the Dreible family sobbing over their disgraced residence, Kyle saw Nancy Kerrigan crying "Why? Why? Why?" over her crushed knee!

Josh, a young Hannibal Lecter, had a cell to himself, which he kept clean and organized and sparsely decorated with his own sketches. After Barbrady introduced himself, Josh told him simply, "That's a terrible cologne you're wearing, officer. You should try something more... casual." Not to be distracted, Barbrady revealed that he had come seeking help.

When Barbrady refused to give Josh toilet paper in return for his assistance, the young criminal demanded that Barbrady answer personal questions, providing some quid pro quo for the services he was seeking.

Cartman also brought along a cement block and chain, but he seemed committed to killing Kyle before dumping him in the lake, rather than drowning him. Unfortunately, Cartman could "only afford a wiffle bat, so it [was] gonna take a while." Kyle didn't really resist, though, saying he couldn't "live like this anymore." He then stood in the boat complacently while Cartman hit him repeatedly with the bat.

Butters was dismayed that he was in jail. He was certain that his parents were going to punish him and that his "girlfriend [...] might break up with [him]." Kyle felt guilty about letting Butters take the blame for their crime, but he let the other boys walk him out of the Police Station.

The boys had determined to tell Mrs. Dreible the truth at school the next day, but after failing to kill them, Cartman evidently beat them to the punch and came forward, making himself look like the one with the most conscience. Cartman even got a reduced detention sentence "for being brave!"

Josh did call Barbrady from a pay phone to thank him for (inadvertently) helping in his escape and to say goodbye. Josh ended the call, saying "There's something I've been meaning to do for quite some time." He then hung up, gathered up two boxes of toilet paper and headed across the street for the White House!
