Many people say that Celtic have the best supporters in Europe. They have the volume to be the best supporters in Europe, not necessarily number wise though. In Champions League 2007-08, they finished the group in second place, advancing to the knockout stages for the second consecutive year. Celtic were drawn against FC Barcelona in the Round of 16. The first leg was played at Celtic Park, and saw them lose 3-2, after being ahead almost the entire match. In the second leg, Xavi scored a very early goal for Barcelona. Barcelona ended up winning the match 1-0 and the quarterfinal spot.
