Answer: Lieutenant Commander Data's 'daughters'

Knowledge of Data's twin 'daughters' Dahj and Soji does not happen until the current events of the series. This scene takes place 14 years ago as Picard comes out of a meeting with Starfleet brass about his proposal to aid the Romulan evacuation.

The plan to use mothballed ships and reserve officers and synthetic labor is denied for multiple reasons, primary among them being the new ban on synthetic lifeforms. While discussing this factor, Musiker puts forward the idea that the Tal Shiar were behind the attack on Mars, but Picard dismisses the thought, unable to believe that they would cause an action that would adversely affect the evacuation efforts.

In the end, Picard tells Musiker that he put an ultimatum to the council, threatening to resign if they did not comply... and they accepted his resignation.

Answer: The name of a pilot

Raffi was dismissed from Starfleet right after Picard's resignation was accepted 14 years ago, and her life and career were essentially ruined. She has many reasons to resent Picard - he got her fired, he gave up on pursuing their cause, and he never checked in on her after everything.

Despite it all, Raffi can see Picard's earnestness and his drive in wanting to save Soji's life, so she reluctantly supplies him with the name of a former Starfleet captain who has his own ship.

Answer: Hugh

Played by Jonathan Del Arco, Hugh was introduced in the "TNG" episode "I, Borg" near the end of the fifth season. Originally designated Third of Five, Hugh was found injured and cut off from the Collective during an away mission. In the course of the episode, he exhibited signs of a regained sense of self and individuality.

Now, 31 years later, he is a full citizen of the Federation, and using his understanding as an 'xB' (ex-Borg) to lead the project to reclaim the Borg in the Artifact.

Ramdha was portrayed by Rebecca Wisocky.

Answer: Commodore Oh

It was established in episode two "Maps and Legends" that Commodore Oh is actually a Romulan spy and a member of the Zhat Vash. This knowledge, however, is not yet known to the other characters in the show. To the audience, the visit to Dr. Jurati from Commodore Oh is filled with implication, but the results of the visit are not seen until another episode. Suffice it to say, it was nothing good.

Answer: La Sirena

Captain Cristóbal Rios (portrayed by Santiago Cabrera) is the pilot recommended by Raffi Musiker and Picard pegs him for former Starfleet when he sees how well he keeps his ship in order.

La Sirena is a Kaplan F17 Speed Freighter that is noticeably more advanced in its operation than previous starships we have seen, with completely holographic controls. This is a nice way to show how technology has continued to develop in Starfleet since the last (in the timeline) official iteration seen onscreen ("Nemesis").

Answer: Emil, the Emergency Medical Hologram

Emil greets Picard when he beams aboard, and at first Picard assumes he is Captain Rios, but then the EMH brings him to the bridge where Rios is sitting with a shard of metal stuck in his shoulder. Emil treats it while Rios and Picard come to an arrangement.

Each of the holograms has its own style and personality (and accompanying accent, showing off Santiago Cabrera's talents). Emil (the EMH) has an English accent, Emmet (the ETH) is Spanish, Enoch (the ENH) comes off as Irish, while Ian (the EEH) presents as Scottish.

In addition to the four utilitarian holograms, there was a fifth one with the job of 'Emergency Hospitality Hologram'. This one was named 'Mister Hospitality', and his voice and accent are most similar to Captain Rios', only more soft spoken.

Answer: Dr. Agnes Jurati

Zhaban drops a plum and narrowly avoids being killed when he bends down to pick it up. A few moments of chaos ensue as they fight off the assassins, using various weapons stashed in strategic places to do so. Even so, just as it looks like all of the attackers have been killed or subdued, another Romulan rushes into the room with a clear shot at Picard... and is suddenly hit from behind by a disrupter blast from a rifle picked up by Dr. Jurati, who arrives at just the right moment.

It turns out Dr. Jurati came to appeal to Picard to allow her to come along on his trip to look for Dr. Bruce Maddox and Soji Ashe and fortuitously arrived at just the right moment.

Answer: The Destroyer

After a few questions trying to draw Ramdha out of her quiet distractedness (playing a Romulan game of solitaire called 'pixmit'), Soji asks if Ramdha knows what happened when her ship and crew were assimilated that caused the Borg cube's submatrix to collapse.

Instead of replying, Ramdha reacts violently, declaring that Soji is 'The Destroyer', then turning the weapon on herself. Before she is able to fire, however, Soji rushes forward with inhuman speed and disarms Ramdha before she can harm herself.

Answer: False

During the incident with Ramdha, a question from the Romulan caused Soji to wonder about her sister's health. Ramdha demanded to know which sister she is, the one who dies, or the one who lives.

When Soji contacts her 'mother', though, the A.I. says that she is fine, then proceeds to speak of inconsequential things... and Soji falls asleep into an induced trance.

She is later awakened by the arrival of Narek, come to check on Soji after the incident.

Answer: Freecloud

Nothing is revealed about Freecloud at this point, apart from the fact that it is the name of a planet. But what surprises Picard is that Raffi decides to come along on the trip. At first he thinks that Raffi has changed her mind about joining his mission, but she says she is just catching a ride to Freecloud and will not be doing anything else.

As they are set to leave orbit, Picard gets the chance to utter his oft-used directive, "Engage."
