29. What is the name of the ultra-stupid case study subject, seen early in the movie?
From Quiz Idiocracy
Answer:
Clevon
The early part of the movie shows a geneological study of two separate cases: a couple with IQs of 142 and 143, and a country hick named Clevon with an IQ of 84. This is to demonstrate the reproduction rates between smart and stupid people. The smarter couple carefully think through their desire to have a child, and every time we check back in with them (every three years), out of prudence they still haven't had a kid. Meanwhile, every time we see Clevon he seems to have fathered another handful of children (including with the next door neighbor). Eventually his son, Clevon Jr. (IQ of 73) is shown, after winning a high school football game, surrounded by cheerleaders, screaming how he plans to sleep with all them. From this brief study, we can see the rate at which the stupid would come to severely outnumber even the marginally intelligent, thus leading to the idiocracy of 2505, which Joe ends up stranded in.
