80. Mario has been in numerous games in many Nintendo systems, but in the game "Mario is Missing!" for the SNES, Luigi finally took center-stage. Who helps Luigi search for Mario in this game?
From Quiz Random Video Game Knowledge
Answer:
Yoshi
Sure, not many people were fond of this game, seeing as it was one of Nintendo's first chances at combining fun characters in a game with an educational value, but the game has it's charms. It's kind of like a "Carmen Sandiego" game, only Mario is sucked into a spiraling vortex, and Luigi is forced to look for him through various exotic (heh) locations while fighting bosses. At every location, not only do you fight bosses, but you search for stolen and hidden artifacts while engaging in amusing conversations with local residents. Not only that, but after each recovered artifact, you'll receive a picture of that artifact (wow, what a prize!). The game was also available on the PC and the NES systems, and Nintendo didn't make an educational Mario game again...until "Mario Teaches Typing" was released on the PC.
